The Official May 2015 Thread!!

I always hear it clears out the park when it rains so that is something I would like to see, I just hate rain! Last May it called for rain up until we left then it said no rain everyday, and it never rained. And that's one of my concerns about the rain! The fireworks! Especially Illuminations because it's my boyfriends favorite.

I'll be fine either way if it rains or not because I'll still be in Disney, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!

I once watched the second MSEP from a nearly empty Hub after the first parade got cancelled. It was amazing.

Also I road BTMRR in the pouring rain. It was awesome!

Now that would be something I would enjoy! I tend to avoid the parades and such because I can't stand being so packed in, even for fireworks we usually stand off to a side somewhere or wherever the least amount of people happen to be.

Lol I don't know if I would wanna ride BTMRR in the rain though!

Back in January DH and I were in Disneyland ( we are AP holders) staying at the Disneyland Hotel when he got sick for a whole day and a half so I wandered into the park alone.

It started raining while I was in line for Nemo subs and when I got out it was coming down decently. My favorite rides cleared out - Casey Jr. Train and Dumbo. I rode both in the rain and got some amazing photos while doing such.
I was able to sit in the back of Casey Jr. train caboose and get a unique perspective and no line ( it typically is 35-45 minutes , no FP / original attraction so only ONE train). Hubby was so sad he missed it though.

BTMRR in Disneyland is amazing during fireworks/Fantasmic in Disneyland if you can time it. I bet it would be similar during fireworks time at WDW !

Aww that all sounds awesome! I guess I would like to experience some of this stuff in the rain, everyone seems to have a good rain story experience. Although, I check the weather every morning and today its calling for only 1 day of rain during the trip. I know tomorrow it'll change again but all your stories are making me not worried about it anymore and I'm ready to embrace it if it happens!
