well Derek couldn't allow Sasha to upstage him so Nastia had to do it all. Did anyone else notice how quickly Derek and Nastia left the group at the end of tonight's show?

I was bi-coastal for a few years, doing the NYC to L.A. route too, While it is stressful making sure you get to the airport on time, as traffic can be a nightmare in the city and you don't know what traffic tie ups there will be before hand. Once you're on the plane, it is just SITTING for 5.5 hours.

I would think the 3 hour time change would be the most brutal part, just hard to keep adjusting.

I read you're supposed to stick to one time zone as much as possible. Like, her classes are in Eastern Time, which can't be changed. So when they rehearse in L.A., they should stick to waking up later and rehearsing into the wee hours of Pacific Time to stay in sync with NY time. The show is only 2 hours and later in the day. If they can set their dress rehearsal & costume fittings later in the day, they can pretty much stick to Eastern Time for Nastia.

Just watched the show. I can't seem to find myself at home on Monday nights lately. I got through the recording really quickly since I'm not at all interested in Noah, Chris or Nastia at this point, so I sped through their numbers. So of the remaining three...

I would love Rumer to go all the way to the mirror ball. She is back on top and I hope she came maintain her spot. Classic routines with no fluff and lots of content are her strong suit.

Robert is a likable guy and I would love for him to continue on, but I think he will go tomorrow.

Riker is Rumer's only real equal in my opinion. Neither one is a olympic gymnast with an obvious advantage and both Riker and Rumer have been pushing themselves week after week to improve. A final with those two going head to head will be exciting!

I used all my phone votes on him.

I'd be ok with Rumer winning it all because I really like her too. I just want to see a good finale, not an inspiring one.

Actually, it's the opposite. To stay on NY time, they'd need to get up 3 hours earlier than LA time, and go to bed "early" too. I worked in San Francisco for a NY based company and I can't tell you the number of 5 AM conference calls (8 am NY time) I got to enjoy.

I watched the show too late to vote by phone so I just voted online. 5 votes to Riker and 1 to Rumer. I really could not believe that they allowed Derek on the stage in the gladiator Paso. I originally wondered why he went with Sasha instead of one of the voted-off pros like Tony or Ardem. Now it abundantly clear. Someone from the troupe is easier to bully into doing things his way. None of the other "pros" would have put up with that crap from Derek. My only hope is that Sasha is learning from his experience and uses this time having Derek as a kind of coach and mentor to his advantage.

I wanted to hate Riker when I first saw him.. I didn't know who he was, but thought he was just some young snot. I REALLY enjoy watching him dance. He's very talented and fun to watch. I would be happy with a Riker/Rumer or Rumer/Riker first/second.

I didn't think Nastia's trio was fair at all.. except for the last 10 seconds she shuttled back and forth between partners and didn't dance in trio formation. That's wasn't a trio dance. And I am pissed that nobody called Derek out on it.

I loved Riker's second dance but I am not seeing how it was jazz. I get tired of the dances that don't contain much of the type of dance they are supposed to do. I loved both of Rumor's dances. They were clean and she kept up with her partner(s).

Derek being in the first dance was ridiculous. He is either injured and can't dance/participate or he participates fully. Why is he allowed this half in/half out dancing? I did like the second dance but felt that it put a lot of attention on Derek rather than her.

I enjoy watching Noah give his best but I think it will be him and Chris going home tonight.

Sometimes Riker looks so much like Derek when he is dancing it is unreal.

I'd like Rumor for the win and Riker for 2nd place. As for 3rd, I don't know. I'm not feeling any of them. Maybe Chris, he has come a long way.

It would make sense that Sasha is the new partner, because he and Nastia have practiced together all season. On one of the first shows of the season it was shown that Derek and Nastia practiced together in NYC, then once Nastia had finished her classes for the week, she flew to LA and practiced with Sasha.

Ugh I can't stand Dance Center. Just get on with it. I wish they had done the eliminations last night. Really hope they don't go back to two nights a week from here on out.
