Monsters, Inc. May - move like Roz is watching challenge

Not counting the time it take me to do the burpees but I'm at 90/930 for those. Got 35 minutes of circuit training in today, not as much as I wanted but unexpected work and after that going to see the new Avengers movie cut into my exercise time 70/1000.
Are you doing a burpee challenge? That sounds so hard! Do you have to do a certain number of burpee's to do each day?

I'm doing the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans' 30 day 30 burpees challenge. It's tough but getting easier now I have figured out how to di the intervals. The first time I did 2x15 and that was very hard, now I'm doing 3x10 which has been working out much better.

I'm taking today off. My oldest is home from college so I took today so we could play a bit together - just the two of us. The plan is to go for a hike.

Feeling really good about today!

I had so much fun at the 4-mile trail run. I do LOVE running in the woods and then when I got home the kiddo asked if we could go play tennis and this evening I walked to the grocery store.

Track workout first thing tomorrow a.m.! My warmweather confession - I really, really want to go out for ice-cream.

Can't wait to tally up minutes tomorrow a.m.
Ice cream is my summer weakness too!

I had no idea he voiced those! I love Roz's voice and amuse DS with my version of it all the time.

Can you add me into the challenge for May? I'm aiming for 700 minutes this month. DS has a LOT going on this month and if I aim for too high a number, I know I'll end up running myself ragged. So I'm going to wear my vivofit band (garmin's version of a fitbit) and see how many extra steps I can manage to squeeze in here and there. I should have worn it this morning because I walked for 2.4 miles already before work!

For those who have been reading along last month, DH and I had our annual 5k race last weekend. I'm happy to report that although he beat me by 9 seconds, I set my own PR for the 5k distance by 1 full minute!!! I'm getting closer and closer to breaking that 30 minute mark. I got a terrible side cramp around mile 1.5 and that readlly set me back. So I'm really pleased with the training plan I followed and can't wait to see if I can apply some of the same concepts to the fall 10k that I use for as my proof of time for races!
 
I may not be able to walk tomorrow - but I chalked up 186 minutes today.

Early morning 3-mile run and a hike that was well over 3.5 hours, but I'm only counting 2.5 because we stopped a couple if times and took pictures.

I love active days, even if I am a wee bit sun-burned and sore.

Went for walk this morning. Took my sweet dog with me. We saw this beautiful tree, it looked like it was snowing pink!
