How should it be interpreted then? The only places that picture is being interpreted that way are extreme conservative sites.

Yea in all seriousness you probably won't like what I say since I, gasp, come from a single parent family!

I agree. No man can keep me down. No man can keep you down. Work hard. Be a good person. It's 2015. You have the opportunity to choose your fate.
Exactly. As a white I don't feel any guilt either as was referred to in that 1968 speech. Should I ?
They showed this morning of what appeared to be a mom going out looking for her trouble making son. whopping his butt all the way back to the car! I applaud her.We need more moms like her.
While I do agree with your statement to a point, since when does stating for many is the truth and hard core facts playing the race card? You see, in this world that is the new popular thing to assume that anyone expressing their personal experiences and someone else claim that the race card is being pulled. The fact of the matter is that while these may not be YOUR personal experiences it's a shame that we have now become so desensitized by hearing things that we deem "race card worthy" that we dismiss all accounts. Now, does the race card get pulled, YES and you know what it doesn't get pulled just by people of color either. However, there are still people out there who have become highly skilled at camouflaging their racism that to the average person it's not so obvious but it's still there and that's what the point is.
You can't dismiss everyone's experiences in life simply as waving your hand and calling "race card". I personally wish it was easier than that. You however, haven't walked in their shoes.
I get told all the time if I say the slightest thing about anything that is going on in our country today "well, you voted for Obama so you're to blame". Well, the truth is I DIDN'T vote for Mr President so before thinking that your blanket statement is accurate - you may want to find out just who they (or I) voted or didn't vote for.
I am a good person, a darn good person. Educated - and not on anyone but my parents dime. I have a good job. Law abiding, pay my taxes, raise my kids the "old school way" you know with morals and such and they are a shinning example of what good parenting will turn out. I work hard and I play hard just like you and that's why I'm on this DISNEY site just like you. When you let things fall I'm really no different than you except I have kickass pale blue highlights in my hair!
How should it be interpreted then?
I would really like sunshinehighway to interpret that picture too.
(1) That's old news.http://townhall.com/columnists/rach...n-45-million-owed-in-taxes-n1923338/page/full
Seems like the hero of the left doesn't feel he has to pay the taxes we all pay to clean up this mess
"Years of massive corruption by the man known for stirring up race relations and making them worse are finally being exposed. While flying around the country first class, dressed in lavish suits, and most recently stirring the pot in Ferguson, Mo., Al Sharpton has avoided paying millions in taxes - that would have landed the rest of us in prison. The situation is so egregious that even the left-wing New York Times finally wrote a long article last week exposing Sharpton’s tax evasion as well as graft and crime going all the way back to his teenage years.
The Times found there is currently more than $4.5 million in state and federal tax liens against Sharpton and his for-profit businesses. That number apparently doesn’t even include the amount owed by his nonprofit, the National Action Network (NAN). According to the Times, “Mr. Sharpton has regularly sidestepped the sorts of obligations most people see as inevitable, like taxes, rent and other bills.”

Pray forgive me but what does this have to do with the subject at hand? Really no one has brought him up at all. I don't even recall him being requested to help with things here in Baltimore. Things are bad enough without adding this fool to the mix. No, one wants him involved.
He has told them he is on his way. It was on the news this morning. Requested or not he will be there.
That doesn't change the fact that the linked article has nothing to do with what's going on in Baltimore and was posted on yeah another extremely conservative website.
Posting links to political sites is a pretty quick way to steer this thread into topics that will get it closed.
From Buzz Feed, "28 Moments That Show Another Side Of The Baltimore Riots"And this is what's right with the people of Baltimore:
