I saw that you got an absolutely GREAT price at AKL - that's exactly what we want to pay! We'd love anywhere from 250-300 points with points we can use this year as well. I absolutely love AKL and could live there - it's my sanctuary thank you for the quick response and all of the info - I hope to get a deal as good as yours. By the way, did you have points you could use right away when you got it at that price?
Is it bad taste to ask a seller to go down on price?

I bought a Feb BLT with all banked 2014 points in October for $105 per point. I thought I'd overpaid, but looking at resale prices today. Wow! I made out like a bandit!

Also you need to look at points per contract bc smaller contracts demand higher prices. A 60 point ssr contract was scouped up on me for over 90 per point.
And remember, these asking prices are just that, asking prices. The real prices are those which closed, and those are less than the asking price.

That is true for some contracts, however, all the BLT contracts I have sold (8 so far) have gone for full asking price which is what I have stuck with since I am not desperate to sell. Yes, you cannot tell for sure, but buyers are paying full ask on many contracts right now sometimes within hours of posting it.
I think your sample size is too small. Other sources put the average listing price for BLT at $115.In my limited 3 month analysis, BLT has had the greatest price increase (10.32% since Feb), so I don't doubt at all the fact that you're able to sell at full price. If this kind of increase continues @ BLT and the Grand Floridian prices continue to slide (down 2.47% since Feb), there could be price parity between the two sometime this summer or fall.
