USSSA Tickets for 2015

I would go ahead and try, but as of yesterday they all said "temporarily unavailable" when I tried.
Did anyone "go for it?" Has anyone bought tickets recently without being on a team? It is not giving a required field for team or player name on the universal tickets when I go through the checkout (did not actually purchase yet). I would really like to hear if anyone from here and used them recently. I really want to do it, but don't want to be stopped at the gate or something.

Yes! Our family of five used these tickets without any problems. All we had to do is sign the tickets upon entry. We have zero affiliation with the USSSA. I don't get why more people aren't using this cheap ticket option.

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but did you buy tickets for Universal or Disney?

Oh wow. So you have already used them? For some reason I am still worried that we will have a problem when we get to Universal and use the tickets.

We used ours in june with no issues at all. They don't really pay attention to where you bought your tickets from at the tap stiles. Relax and enjoy your savings!!:D

Does anyone know if the Universal 2 day park-to-park tickets can be upgraded to a 3 day? I checked on the site, and didn't see any info on upgrading your tickets.

Finally caught a time when there were 4, 1-day park-to-park tickets available. Now here's hoping I have no issues either!

Are the expiration dates on the USSSA tickets similar to the Orbitz vouchers, in that once you link them to your MDE account it doesn't matter when you use them?

Regarding expiration, I ran into an unexpected problem last month when I tried to activate my CheapTickets 5-day PH voucher at Disney Springs. The Guest Relations CM could not "find" my ticket in the Disney database, even though I had linked it to MDE many weeks prior. I too had assumed that linking the voucher to MDE was the functional equivalent of redeeming it. It turned out that the CM needed the Disney Ticket Confirmation number, which did not appear on the voucher I had printed out. I had the locator code, the voucher code, the will call confirmation number, and I think even a fourth number (!?) all of which did me no good. The CM ended up telephoning somebody, and finally after about 20 minutes of all this, she did issue me the ticket. The necessary number generally starts with the first three letters of your given name, so if Jane Doe buys a ticket voucher, the confirmation number they want to see will be JANxxxx-xxx-etc. My recollection is that I was able to link my voucher/ticket to MDE without having this particular number. I should have checked my CheapTickets account shortly before departure and printed the completely up-to-date ticket voucher with the Disney Ticket Confirmation included.

Sorry for the drone, but I guess my point is that just proving who you are isn't enough for the Disney ticket people to redeem tickets associated to your MDE. Or maybe this particular CM didn't know exactly what she was doing, if she was just getting into ticket stuff. I am also not sure what this means for Magicbands, which I never use. I'd assume that tickets linked to your MDE automatically go onto your properly configured Magicbands, such that you can just walk through the touchpoints and not bother with redemption at a window.

Does anyone know the answer to this? We will be arriving a few days after the expiration date in January so I was also wondering if you buy them and load them on your MB, whether the expiration dates would matter?

Hello. I was thinking of buying the 2-day park to park tickets for Universal Studios Orlando from usssa. On the usssa website the expiration date says December 15, 2015. But I've been seeing on this forum that some people said when they actually got the physical tickets in the mail, there 2-Day Park-to-Park tickets date said December 31, 2015. I just wanted to clarify that December 31st is what the actual tickets say before I purchase them. Thank you. =)

Did you ever find out if it's the 15th or 31st? I would like to purchase some too but also nervous.

No, I didn't. I just bought my tickets through ticketsawork. It's more expensive than usssa but cheaper than Universal. :)
