Port Orleans carriage rides

I don't see how they would be accessible if someone can't climb the steps.

Have you seen a solution somewhere else for this?

I was wondering if there were some form of pull down or stool aide available?

I'm not experienced with this, which is why I didn't originally answer yesterday.

But wouldn't the stool or pull down still require climbing and stepping up?

If you look at this picture you can see there is a small white step there. But it does require climbing steps.

are the carriages accessible for those unable to climb steps/mobility issues?

I'm assuming you mean something to sit on -- like a lift? As mentioned above, there is a little step, but it still involves climbing. I did some research and found that while it does appear possible to make a buggy or carriage wheelchair accessible (with a lift or ramp), I've found no mention that either the horse-drawn carriage or wagon rides at WDW are equipped like that. There have been a few questions posted here over the years but no definitive response indicating accessibility features.

If there is something new, and/or someone does have info about accessibility for the carriages, hopefully they will post.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks guys.

I was asking for dmil for our October trip.
We have a sneaky extra trip (without dmil) in July, so we'll go and check for ourselves then.
