The Young Avengers: A Very Avengers Holiday (YARP Part 6)

OOC: I think Chewbacca. That new Star Wars teaser trailer was a hit.
;)
But for real I'm glad you had a wonderful time at the convention!

OOC: It was so so fun! I got so many great pics!image.jpgcosplay was hella

OOC: Tomarrow I'll probably write a piece explaining what happened between the span for both Jay and Evelyn.

Jay: Life was pretty good. He had been doing a lot of training for the Olympics. The main place for that was Chula Vista CA (Near San Diego). His father being the assistant coach had to be there often, so he and Natasha bought a little house their. While split their time there and at Stark Tower where the kids lived. Not wanting to move the kids around more than they had to, especially with school, Jay and Evelyn stayed in New York. During the summer the kids actually stayed in California, and Jay made quite a few trips to train during school breaks and other key times. Bad guys sometimes popped up, but no major ones did, and everyone was safe and doing well. Natasha had gotten a job with Stark industries, where she spent most her time in the California headquarters.

Evelyn: It was junior year and she was working hard to do well in school. Evelyn still enjoyed cheer, and helped Mike win president again. It was a lot easier with that other guy gone. She and Mike were happy and well. Jay and Hope were still total lovebirds. Evelyn had started to take some art and business classes at school. It was currently crunch time for taking SAT’s and raising GPA.

Over the year and almost half, naturally they grew. Nothing too dramatic, but they both older for sure as most high schoolers would. Jay was really working hard on his fitness, and it was paying off. Evelyn's voice was starting to deepen and sound like her mother's. She was a little insure about it.

Evelyn: It was 3'o clock on a Sunday afternoon. Spring was trying to come, the high today 66. She was looking forward to when it slightly warmer and she could bring her laptop out to the rooftop and enjoy the breezes and sunlight. Mom and dad were at the California house, so Evelyn was doing some cleaning while putting some unreleased Lana Del Rey through the floor speakers. Her current favorite was Queen of Disaster, and sometimes when it said spin around like a ballerina she'd do pirouettes across the living room floor. She was pretty relaxed and in a good mood.

Jay: Sunday was his cheat day. After some Oreos we finally got out of his pajamas (After sleeping in until noon, there was Netflix in bed) and headed down the stairwell to see if anything interesting was going on.

Eli: His time had been pretty...eventful. There was the Mandarin incident, which led to the destruction of his childhood home in Malibu, which he was still kind of sore about. They had a new house closer to the Californian SI branch in Lost Angeles (OOC: I think it's in LA), which he and his parents visited in the summers. The other change from the Mandarin incident was that his dad had had heart surgery in the hospital to remove the shards and the reactor, making sure there was enough tissue to fill up the gap so his chess didn't cave, and they did the same for Eli, making this his second heart surgery in a short amount of time. This made his chest more vulnerable, but in the whole he was more healthy. Otherwise physically, he hadn't changed much. It seemed to be in the family to be short, though he was getting closer to his parents' height and was still taller than Hope. Eli spent a lot more time with Hope whenever he could steal her away from Jay and completely became an over-protective older brother. Now it was junior year. Eli was currently trying to decide his exact college major, though he knew his top school to apply to was his dad's alma mater, MIT.

OOC: Do the rest in a bit.

Hope: It was junior year. She was having the time of her life. She'd been training harder for the Olympics, going to many camps and competitions. She also jumped into to the social section of her new status as an Olympic athlete, by being part of two different groups, supporting and promoting women in science and women in sports respectively. She also regularly visited children cancer patients in the hospitals. Other things happened as well. Hope didn't get any taller, but her body got strong with muscle and she filled out. She grew close to Eli, becoming the salutatorian to Eli's valedictorian and the little sister to Eli's big brother. She also became cool with Raven's band and some of the other YA. Hope was currently looking at MIT, Harvard and Stanford.

Mike: Times had been good. It was now junior year. He had held his place as president and head quarterback, and did good things for the school, like starting a peer tutoring program, having a fine arts festival held to raise money for charity, and generally raising school spirit and lowering school violence. His relationship with Evelyn was still steady, though hey were no Hope and Jay. Mike's biggest decision was whether to go for the military or to go for an athletic scholarship like someone (probably Ev) suggested he could do. He spent time with Nancy when he could, but she was a college gal and as such could get kinda busy. He didn't change too much, but he did grow a little bit.
