Snow pics for you happy campers

I actually have patches of brown starting to show up. Nothing green, of course to day is just around 32 degrees.

Looking at the weather patterns, I'll give you 2 weeks and you should have a lovely soupy, muddy mess.

Yes, it is that time, Mud Bowl !!! Of course I head back to work next weekend and it is time to get the campground up and running for Memorial Day. We have some things opening before then, but all open by the end of May. So hopefully the weather breaks and we can get going, water is our biggest problem, and holds up the most cleaning until the end. But we will get it done.

Hey Chris, what kinda work you talking about? Do you own or work at a campground? Just curious, haven't heard you say before.

I work for the State, as does my better half. She manages three State parks here and I work maintenance at another State Park, do enough work for her on my days off.

I am guessing you may be partial to those parks....which ones so I know who to compliment if I get to them..lol. Are they nice camping parks? I was at several PA state parks when I was younger with parents in rental RV....

Yeah, which ones?

She manages, Tobyhanna State Park, Gouldsboro State Park and Big Pocono State Park, I work for Promised Land State Park.

Tobyhanna has a small campground of around 100 sites, electric was just added this winter and will be available from Memorial Day on. Gouldsboro has no camping, just a good size lake the locals love to fish. Big Pocono, is nice, from the top you can see NY and New Jersey on a clear day.

Promised Land where I work has a bigger campground area with around 400 sites. Everything from just a tent to full hook ups.

Tobyhanna is usually very quiet, reserved crowd of campers. And it has been very enjoyable so far.

Will keep those in mind should I ever haul the camper into your neck of the woods.

Not sure if PaHunter is getting any snow, but yesterday was a high of 60 here in Vt. with all the snow gone and the ice melting away on the rivers and lakes. This is what we woke up today

Weather for next few days is going to be the same.

We got some last week, haven't gotten around to the pictures, luckily it melted the next two days. I still have snow in the yard although it is fading fast. It is scheduled to rain the early part of the week, so most should be gone by then. We had some flakes and flurries today while I was out working.

Living in FL I forget others might still be getting snow. Brrr!
