Charging stations/areas in WDW?

Hi all, planning for my upcoming WDW trip (27 days!). Been noticing my iPhone 5C battery has been dying particularly fast in the past week, so am now concerned about having it on my trip. I do not have an external battery and would to avoid getting one (trying to get away with carrying just the smallest possible bag on my trip given the innovation of the MagicBands). Can I get away with just bringing the USB/lightning port cable rather than the cable + the USB square?

And does anyone know where the outlets/charging areas are in the 4 main WDW parks? I know that..
Magic Kingdom: charging lockers by main entrance, cost $2
Magic Kingdom: outlets + USB outlets in the tree stumps in Tangled Land
Epcot: ??
Hollywood Studios: ???
Animal Kingdom: ????

(Also.. I know this is a Disney thread but if anyone has similar info for UR-IOA and URF.. much appc!)

We purchased one of the solar powered charging units at amazon.com. We use it on long days hiking, days at the beach and it works great. It comes with its own caribiner . We hook it on the stroller, backpack or just charge it overnight and take it with you.

Another option is a USB power charger. They are the size of a usb and also do a great job while fitting in your pocket or bag without taking up much space. You can pick up one for an IPhone on amazon for under $25.

In the store outside the exit from Space Mountain there is a row of power chargers (not usb, regular power plugs) next to some really wonderful massage chairs.

Also at Hollywood Studios, at Backlot Express, a Counter Service restaurant near Echo Lake, there is a little bench on the side, before you get inside where you order. There were some plug ins there where I plugged in my ECV to charge while we ate lunch, you could charge a cell phone there if you needed. It is also one of the few restaurants that offer free fountain soda refills :)

I would look into getting some kind of portable power bank. Some of them are pretty small and really don't add that much to your stuff. I got one that is smaller than my iPhone and can recharge my phone twice. By having a portable power supply you aren't stuck sitting and waiting for your phone to charge. I already have my phone in my pocket and the power bank fits in there too. It charges as I go. At night in the room I charge them both up for the next day. Also, it helps to configure your phone to use as little power as possible. Google "power saving tips" to see ways to save power.

I have an external power bank that is the same size just about as a tube of lipstick. I have a galaxy note 4 and it charged my phone completely from 5% albeit not as fast as my normal charger. Works great; doesn't way more than lipstick either.

I will note though I had two external power banks that I use at home in Missouri fine with my iphone 5s, and when I tried to use them in Orlando this week. Normally each of these will charge my phone twice. I had fully charged them up the night before but when my phone got down to about 10% they would only charge it up to about 50 - 60% (and i put it on airplane mode when it was charging so it wouldn't drain battery). I think it had something to do with the Florida heat. It was in the high 80s, but when you were in the sun, it was definitely hotter. At certain times, both my phone and my husband's iphone 6's flash had an error message that it wouldn't work until the phone cooled down. Using the phone's MDE app and touring plan app all day, as well as the camera really drains the battery quickly, so be prepared for it to drain so much more quickly than you would in a normal use day. Those apps and the camera are true battery hogs. Plus the heat does not help.

I've never tried the portable packs, but I have a Mophie case for my iPhone 5 and have been happy with that!

I have a mophie for my Samsung galaxy phone that works great and I also bring a small portable charger into the parks with me as well. Some days I go, go, go all day and have needed to have both with me.

I have a power block that I got for christmas that I can precharge and then plug it into my phone if I need power during the day. Will come in handy in the parks this June!

Epcot in Innoventions West, there use to be a sitting area that had outlets. I haven't been there for a while so I don't know what has been blocked off because of it closing.

Dh had an iPhone 5 that stopped holding a charge well, so he charged it every chance he got. Epcot was the best place- the buildings with interactive exhibits (piggy bank game, etc) had outlets in the corners of the rooms, so he'd stand there while I walked the kids through the building.
