So it will be the deluxe to 35% moderates to 25% and value to 20%? I didn't think the deluxe was going to increase?

I am not one hundred percent sure without going back to the original ad, but I was pretty sure everything was increasing by 5% for that period...

It is going up after the 10th. I called this afternoon after work to get the adjustment for our trip, August 6-14 and since we will be in between where they are raising the discount we are getting 15% for 6-9th and 20% for 10-14.
 
The discount would only save us about 150 dollars to switch to POR from POFQ. Only garden view rooms available. We will stick with the POFQ rooms we already have booked.
 


Just added three nights to our stay. So now we will be at AKL from August 3-10 and then we are switching to YC for August 10-13. I am really excited about staying longer, but a little nervous about YC. We haven't stayed anywhere other than AKL for so long. We love it there, but I really wanted to try somewhere new. Ugh! Hope I made the right decision.
 
New to the forums. We will be there August 12-27, after a ten year absence... We are driving from MA. Staying off-site at a condo. First trip for my 5 year old, and my 13yo and 11yo have little to no recollection. Needless to say we are super excited!!

Spending a few days at an Epcot resort is always a great decision IMO! :thumbsup2 Enjoy!

After thinking it through and redoing some ADRs, I am happy with the decision. I really am looking forward to being close to so many restaurants and Epcot of course. And the kids are super excited about the pool. They always ask if they can stay there and now we have the chance.

That's why we're doing the BC for four nights before we check into Pop. My kids and husband are excited about the pool and I'm excited about heading to the bakery in France and grabbing lunch while they swim. :)
 
That's a hopeful maybe for me. DD is in the CP, so we're waiting to see what the discounts look like before the rest of the family pays her a visit.
 
You can count this mum and her two girls (ages by Aug 17 & 10) to the list of those braving the heat and lines to make the trip back home. I never in a million years would have thought of us going in August but due to a very expensive family wedding (one of my older sister's daughter is getting married) in May and since our trip had to be paid the weekend of her wedding for our early July trip it just made everything a little to tight for this single mum to pull off alone. So pushing the trip back til August gave me a little more time to pay the trip off, breath a little and attend this soiree and not look miserable in every family photo thinking about the money it cost to attend, lol.

Our dates are Aug 10-19 and we're staying at our fave mod CSR. We've been many times over but during April, May, June and Sept, never August. I'm not really concerned about the weather because I know it's going to be hot and humid and there's really no way of getting around that. Honestly, after a certain point in May the temperatures average in the 90's anyway and we've done 90's in FL. My real concerns are the lines and securing FP+ times for this time frame once my window opens up 60 days prior to check-in. This will be our first visit with the new FP+ system, the last time we were there (June 2013) they still were testing things out and the old FP system was still very much in play. I've been doing a lot of reading and getting some both positive and negative vibes about the new system but honestly the reality of things are that some will love the new system and other...not so much. Keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Finally going back! DD, DG and myself had an 11 day trip planned August 2011, but had to cancel due to my father passing away at the end of July of that year. Fast forward 4 years and we have made plans again. Our first time in the full heat of summer!:sunny: We are staying at AoA LK room for 7 nights and then over to the dark side for 5 nights.:guilty: I had reserved my place at Vistana for the week, but will rent it out instead or bank for next year. No rental car needed, plus we can come and go separately if needed. Was able to book our flights down for $0 using pay with miles points and grabbed a one way non stop back to CT for $84 each:dogdance:. I have made the 2 ADR's we wanted and now waiting for 60 day to book FP.
 
Anyone else going bonkers trying to count down to August?? ADRs are made, airfare is set, still have a ways to go until we can book FP. I'm trying to keep it to myself so I don't make everyone around me sick of Disney before we go! :ssst: I've been trying to listen to the park radio stations online... which helps... but it still seems like August is soon far away! I can't wait to walk down main street and wave hello to the castle!!
What are you doing to help the time go by faster?

I'm going crazy too!!! I get on Disboards everyday about 100 times! :-) Thankfully life is sooo busy that time is flying by. But I'm soooo excited for August!!!! Everything is done except FP's June 9.
