Jenny Lynn is the best - hands down.

Again thanks so much for taking he time out of your day to answer us and interact. I totally love the Trip its a charming and interesting show.

If you guys maybe can so a segment one day about the different diner shows in Orlando! When you go to the hotels you get bombarded by those advertisements and maybe you Teresa have done some before?
I actually used to work in one. I waitressed at Capone's, dressed like a gangster named Moxie every night and cleared your plates with an extra helping of sass. There are videos up of me as Moxie on YouTube if you search "Capone's attractions."

Maybe it's because I'm not friends with her (I don't even really have a FB, I had to create one to sign up for something and never once used it) but I only see a few pictures... I don't even see Duck Tales! No big deal, was just interested in what she had to say about this thread.
You have to be one of my "friends" on FB to see my page, and you (as well as anyone else) are more than welcome to be one. What you are seeing otherwise is my "public profile" which is just some profile and cover pictures. On my page, I basically thanked each of you by name for being so kind and supportive of me on the boards and expressed that people like you are the reason why the team does what it does.

Just want to say how much I enjoyed this past episode of The Trip. You guys are finding your groove and it is very enjoyable.
This is so appreciated. Teresa and I have been a bundle of nerves as we try to figure out exactly what we are doing (and we are still trying to figure that out). It's fun having people with a sense of humor along for the ride.

Hahaha! I just divorced an accountant, so I do happen to be in need of one. This friendship is growing stronger by the post.
Well this accountant isn't anti disney like that one (wow, I sound a little stalker-ish... I recall you mentioning it on last week's The Trip ep!), so that's always a great start!
I could tutor you on all things Harry Potter and you could teach me more about WDW!

It must be very late there JL! (2:22am Thursday? It's currently 6:22pm Thursday in Melbourne, Australia!!)
How do you stay up so late with all the work you do?! Crazy lady!

I needed to take the time to say THANK YOU!!! Your words of encouragement really mean a lot to me. It is nice to be understood. It helps sustain the other bumps and bruises that are dished out here on occasion.

The whole team does need a shout out. I do care a great deal for each of the people I work with on the DIS. They all have become a very important part of my life as well as the lives of my children, and they have come at a time when I absolutely needed to be surrounded by a supportive team. Pete, in particular, has been a champion for me in a way that no one ever has. He has my respect and loyalty as a result. I am truly grateful to have been invited to be a part of such a fantastic group of people.

I may have differing opinions at times. I may seem more "polished" at the table than some listeners prefer. And I may look more pale ;) But be assured that I am working hard and hoping to do my part in making the site and the podcasts more helpful and interactive as well as entertaining for y'all. All of your ideas, thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

It wasn't long ago that I was on the other side of this, listening to the podcast from my home in VA while I planned my Disney vacations. I remember what it was like, and I do love sharing and laughing with you guys at home. I hope that in the coming years I get a chance to meet more of you at the DIS meets. So far, the friends that I have made at those events have been ones that I will keep all my life. I plan to keep adding to that list. :)

Thank you so much for the shout out. I'll be giving y'all one as well on my FB page tonight. Much love!

Jeni Lynn,

I work for CBS News in North Carolina and it is SHOCKING what some people will say to our talent from behind the anonymity of a computer screen. We try to laugh the mean spirited comments off to make them not sting as badly, but it still gets under your skin no matter how much you try.

Don't let any of the haters be a distraction from continuing to produce great work and content. Keep pushing for for video and media. The Trip is going to be a great show! If I can ever be of any help, please let me know!

Aww... you're such a sweetheart!!

Extremely good advice that I intend to follow. :)

What about if you were faced with Kane and the Big Show?
(I was going to say Roman Reigns, but his hotness definitely makes him not scary ;-) )

Big Show is a big teddy bear. Kane is a lot less scary since he went "corporate." And I will refrain from commenting on Roman Regins since he is a married man. ;)
He would be a big teddy! I didn't get to meet him at WrestleMania XXX last year, but I did get to meet Christian, Trish Stratus, Dolph Ziggler, Sandow etc.
I think we spent more time in lines there than we did at WDW!!!
That's very respectful of you!! Super hot dude though!
Are you super disappointed that you didn't know Chris Jericho was at IUniversal for Sharknado?!

I have to admit that at first JL wasn't my favorite (I'm sorry! I don't like change!) but she's come to be one of my faves! I feel like she's...how do I say this...somewhat more willing to challenge the status quo at the table than the others? I feel like she better represents me in a lot of the discussions. And I look forward to seeing what she does with her hair every week (something I picked up on when I rewatched like 20 shows in a row on YT).

I also have to admit, when JL first started I was a bit skeptical. I also don't like change (no offense JL). However, I now love JL. I really miss her when she isn't on the show(s). I listen to all three shows. I'm also a mom who loves Disney. I really value JL's prospective , which is usually geared toward kids and family. She also brings a fun element to all the shows.

In fact, I just finished listening to the last three episodes of the Trip (I don't watch just listen during my commute). I got a bit behind due to the 7 in 7. Anyway, I love the Tripp; JL and T are so funny.

I hope to meet some of the team members at the Hershey meet this summer, which I'm super excited about. I booked a room at the Hershey Lodge the day the dates were first mentioned on the show.

I have to admit I'm not quite sure about The Trip yet. I don't totally like how it is only one main topic for the whole show. I prefer the variety of the regular podcast that covers a bunch of different info. Also, since I only listen to the audio, the prerecorded video segments are tough to enjoy. I'm sure they're more entertaining when you're watching them. It might be better if they cut them out of the audio show just like they do for the regular podcast. Perhaps I'll suggest that over on Dustin's suggestion thread.

Thought I would join in on this, been away from the podcasts for a few months now & have only started watching them again last week.
Living in the UK we only tend to make it out to WDW every couple of years so we use the poscasts to bring a little bit of the magic into our house every week.
Currently working our way through the 7 in 7 series & have been really impressed by the addition of JL to the team.
