It's 29C in Orlando today

it's -28C in Oakville today



Weather is looking good for us. Two days of rain, but it's still so far away that the weather forecast changes daily. When I checked last week, we were not supposed to even have sun (s'okay, it was still going to be warm!). We're going the week before march break.

Us too!! We leave here March 8th. And it was looking crappy, then it was great, now it is back to OK. Anything has to be better then the Extreme Cold warnings we have been dealing with. I am SO DONE with WINTER!! I can't do it anymore. I can't stand the cold. You can't even get out in this and do anything. It's too bloody cold.

The weather looks great. We are staying at Windsor Hills from March 14-21. I can't wait. We just surprised the kids on the weekend. We plan on visiting Universal for the 3 day special. ALSO going to the Montreal Canadian vs Tampa Bay game on Monday night. woooooo hooo can't wait

So, I know it isn't March yet, but it almost is. Just to show how variable the weather can be for those of you going to WDW soon : it was SO cold here yesterday that I had to fetch my winter parka from the trunk of the car! Never thought I would need it in Florida. But tomorrow we'll be back in t-shirts and shorts.

Unless you will be here tomorrow, don't get your self worked up about the forecast. They are incredibly inaccurate more than a couple of days out. By all means, prepare for possible rain on any day (buy ponchos and carry on regardless).

I am here now. We arrived on Wednesday and leave on the 4th. The weather has been the worst I have ever seen for January, February or March. I am told be Floridians and snowbirds that there have been some nice days but mostly cooler wet days. On Friday the high was 57 degrees! I know it's all relative to what we left behind but Geeesh!!!

But.....good news March Breakers! As of today the weather is 80s and sunny and warm. Higher than their normal temp of 76. No chance of rain until next weekend they say! So my week of sun will now be 4 days of sun but I'll take it!

Parks seem busy IMHO.

There's a reputable weather site that forecasts precipitation that far out?

We're going (to Universal) March break as well - flying out of Buffalo March 15. I might look at the long-range temperature predictions starting around the 10th, as that has a lot to do with the position of the jet stream (the reason behind Ontario's - and much of the South's - brutal February) and can therefore be guessed at somewhat.

But rain? Unless there's a hurricane coming no one can predict precipitaion with ANY accuracy more than a few days out. And even 24 hour forecasts are hit and miss.

Unless of course it's August in Orlando. Then the chance of an afternoon downpour is roughly 130%.

Yeah, the weather is shifting all over the place. A few days ago it was rain-free and today they are calling for rain during our visit. Accuweather does a 45 day forecast, but don't count on what you see until its close to your trip.

I'm packing tonight (leave Thursday). I'm packing shorts and tees for each day - but adding sweatshirts and pant to "convert" all the clothes if it is cooler. Went to dollorama and bought rain ponchos for everyone.
