Does the monorail from the Poly go to MK? Or do we have to go to the transportation center?

The Monorail leaves the Poly, stops at the Grand Floridian and then off to MK. If you want to take the Monorail to Epcot you will need to walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center and get on the Epcot Monorail.

Yes, the Resort Monorail line (the line that stops at Poly) goes in a clockwise direction and makes stops at Poly-GF-MK-CR-TTC in that order.

Making our first WDW Deluxe resort stay at Poly, May 18-24. We were originally booked CL @ AKL for the same dates, but my wife won a raffle for a 6 night stay @ Deluxe resort with 7 Day PH and DXDP. For the time we wanted to go this is what we were able to get. Super excited to be staying here!

are the labor days deals out now with this agency?

Yes they are!!

I've been stalking the agency's website and FB page and there still isn't anything about the Labor Day deal there.
I also e-mailed my agent a little over a week ago asking when the deal was being released and she said 'any day now' but I haven't heard from her yet. Grrr.....

Feeling like a kid on Christmas! Our fall 2017 Poly reservation was there in MDE this morning. I am over the moon!!! It'll be our first time at a monorail resorts, so I'm excited to compare with our other experiences and check out this part of WDW. Looking forward to following this thread over the next several months!

So excited, just booked our trip for next August! We are doing a BC/ Poly split. I have dreamed of Poly since I was a little girl, I can't believe it is really happening!!

An Epcot/MK split is the best of both worlds! Happy planning .

Hi all! We just booked our first stay at Poly! Woohoo! We are typically moderate people and we had actually booked a bounce back offer at CBR while we were at POP the night before our cruise this year... But they made us upgrade to a preferred room and park hoppers to get the deal and it added A LOT of money to our trip and pretty much ate up all the supposed savings. Then my TA scored me a deal at Poly that was too good to pass up so we made the switch on Monday. I'm beside myself! I've wanted to stay here for awhile but I'm a practical person and have always told me self we can have just as lovely a time at CBR. I've stayed at a deluxe a couple times and didn't really love either one (Contemporary and AKL) but I know Poly is going to be different. Wishes is my favorite thing in the world and knowing I can see them every single night just makes me want to cry! We are staying 9/2-9/9

I am sure I am going to have a lot of questions the next few months!

Just FYI, they aren't on the page but the deal ARE out. We booked on Monday. If you just email a TA and ask they will get you quotes even though the page isn't updated. They got the deals worked on Thursday but then Disney had their reservation system down on Friday and Saturday which is why there's been a holdup.

I've e-mailed my agent - this would be the 3rd year in a row we've booked with her - but if I don't hear back from her by the end of the day I'll e-mail another agent. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Can anyone tell me what toiletries you get in the room? On the cruise they had the collagen sea mineral shampoo which was green. Some of the photos I've seen on Tripadvisor have completely different shampoo etc and I'm wondering if they've changed it recently? I'd be grateful if someone could confirm please. Thanks!

It's not the same stuff that you get on the cruise. We cruised and then stayed at AKL the night after in September. The toiletries at AKL were the same that are pictured in the first page of this thread... completely different than the stuff on the cruise... Shower gel at AKL and that awesome lotion on the cruise... I am kicking myself because my room attendant on the ship asked if I wanted more lotion on my last night and I said no because I don't usually use it. And then I tried it at home and I'm obsessed with it and wish I had said yes to more!

The picture at the beginning of this thread shows the same stuff I got at AKL. Whether that picture is outdated, I have no idea.

The stuff on pg 1 is grapefruit. Blech!! As of yesterday it was sea salt lotion and shower gel and sea marine shampoo and conditioner at contemporary. If they gave it at CR and GF, I'd be shocked not to see it at Poly.

FWIW, CR's toiletry offerings are different than than Poly. Unless this has recently changed, Poly has the small bottles in that pic above.
