Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

The last time we were at Hot Topic, they had new Maleficent and Ursula bows, but packing has become stressful so we passed on more bows (for now ). We usually try to theme our outfits around the park we are going to, but with park hopping this time, that makes it a little difficult. When the girls were younger, I would make them wear matching outfits. Sadly, they are at different stages now, so no more .

I dread packing. I always think I have everything but miss something anyway. The weather can be so unpredictable that sometimes it's hard to match outfits anyway and you just have to go with the flow. Disney is fun no matter what you wear. I hope your packing gets less stressful!

We are having a great time! We spent all day at the Animal kingdom yesterday. The nighttime safari was awesome. We got a 4th FP for the safari and good thing as it was a 30 minute wait in standby. We times it so we got in line about 10 minutes before actual sunset. It was perfect, it was getting dark but we could still see the animals. Lots moving around. Zebras were crossing so we stopped and waited on them about 10 minutes. It was cool. The tree awaking was really pretty. We just saw 2 because we were sooooo hot, tired, and ready to leave.

Sounds like you are having so much fun! That is a great idea using your 4th FP for the nighttime safari we might have to try that! Have a magical time the rest of your trip!!

An update for anyone interested in art classes at AoA. The classes are daily at 11, 2 and 5. Also, we found a few more photo booths that you can use your MB at...
•Space Mtn. .... inside the gift shop
•AK .... next to Primeval Whirl(not working the day we were there)
•Boardwalk .... across from Ample Hills Creamery
•Disney Springs .... pin station close to Once Upon A Toy
•Figment .... inside the gift shop
One more thing, not sure if this is new or just the first time we noticed, but if you ride RNR at HS as you enter the building the concert posters to the left will display your first name and the city where you are from as if you are on tour. Be ready if you want to snap a photo though, because the posters change quick.

Thank you!! We had a great trip we just had to cut it short due to the hurricane, but we were able to enjoy all of the parks thanks to having the park hopper . You have the option after the photos are taken to either print now or download. It will ask you to select your favorite photo, but if you download them they will all show up (or they should) on the MM account. I know you must be getting excited for your upcoming trip!!!

Oh I am so sorry you had to cut your trip short! At least everyone is safe and you got to enjoy all the parks!!! I think this means you will have to start planning another trip to WDW. We are starting to get excited about our upcoming trip, 35 days to go!

Absolutely!!!!! I'm always planning for Disney!!! Unfortunately, I was unable to book a BB before we left so here's hoping for a 2017 Free Dining GP release!!!!! Fingers crossed!!!! I have a question about the free dining. We have a room booked at ASMusic. When I booked we upgraded to the regular plan, am I now allowed to switch back to the quick serve plan? What if I Change my mind again? Would I be allowed to upgrade again? We can't decide if we really want to do ten table service or not

We ended up having to cancel our BB and were hoping for POR with FD. POR was not included in November but when the RO discounts came out I realized that I saved more than the RO discount because prices had gone up for rooms, tickets and the dining plan from when I booked in December. It's not as good as FD but better than the RO discount so we were happy. Maybe you could book a package sometime before the end of this year so when prices increase you have a backup in case you don't like the FD offer. Also, I know you have to book BB from the resort but maybe they will make an exception because of the hurricane?

It's my own fault. The last few years I would call the day we arrived to book a BB, but I thought I would wait till after the 1st hoping they would maybe add more fall dates for next year. I have considered going ahead and booking a package before the end of the year so we'll see.

I like to book a package if I don't do the BB because at least I have this years prices locked in for only a $200 deposit that I can get refunded if I find something better. Also then I can start planning my trip early, LOL!

Shouldn't be a problem to switch back and forth - if it won't let you online you can always call and make the change!

My TA informed me that we could do that without a problem. I think you have to make your final decision by 2-5 days before your arrival date though, so definitely don't leave it until the last minute! Of course, I'm going to double check with her this morning before we pay off our package, just to be sure we'll be able to add back the upgrade later if we want, but she has told me that a couple times already.

Yay !!! We booked our trip last October and this time last week we were already on the long road trip back home . I hope you have a great trip!!!

It seems like it is taking forever for park updates! We have 30 days until our first day at Disney and I am starting to get more anxious to have a final plan, LOL! Did everyone see the new Christmas light show that is starting November 14 at HS! I was sad thinking how HS would not feel likeChristmas this year without the Osborne lights but now I am excited to get some Christmas magic back. I am hoping that we will be able to buy the 3D glasses even if we don't attend the Dessert party.
