All you who have been to DisneyWorld on Valentine's Day (or week).... What recommendations do you have for seeing the Princes along with their princesses? Which parks do they appear in? Are they out before or after the 14th? Any special info would be appreciated greatly. We have park hoppers and are not afraid to use them! lol.. Thanks in advance

Our last day is Valentine's Day, and I'd love to hear which park would be the best for finding the Princes too!

My last trip, Valentine's Day 2013, had the princes and princesses as part of the "Special Magic" year theme, or something like that. In MK, Snow White met with her Prince, and Mickey and Minnie were in the Town Square Theater. This was also the time when Cinderella, Rapunzel and Aurora were meeting together, and so Prince Charming, Flynn Rider and Philip were with them as well. To add to the magic, each couple also gave out Valentines!

Ariel was by herself in the grotto that week --- Eric was not with her :( Nor was Beast with Belle.

We'll be there 2/24-28 (for our 4th visit - I've been a lurker entirely too long!)

I missed making ADRs at 180 days, but still got everything (old favorites, and a few new ones) except the elusive BOG:
2/24: Via Napoli at 7:10 pm
2/25: San Angel Inn at 5:30 pm
2/26: Tusker House PPO at 8:00 am, Yak & Yeti at 4:45 pm
2/27: Mama Melrose (Feast + Fantasmic!) at 1:05 pm
2/28: Liberty Tree Tavern at 1:05 pm

Our last visit was February 2015, and we're all excited to go back!

I've enjoyed being back on the boards learning what's new, and thought I should introduce myself:

DH, DD#1 (11), DD#2 (7)

I *might* be canceling a 2/24 12:05 BOG for a party of 4 (if the other people we're traveling with get their acts together... I've been waiting for 3 weeks for them to update before I cancel it...) if that works for you, I'd be happy to coordinate when I'm ready to drop!

I have a morning conference on 2/24 that I (really) wish I could miss! But if you do need to cancel, you'll make someone else very happy!

Is The Wave kid friendly?

That's tough for me to answer since I don't have kids. It's one of the more quiet and out of the way places, feels like a "nice hotel restaurant," and seems to draw more adult/convention guests from the Contemporary. I saw a couple of families there at my meals, but the place was not busy either time. You can check out the menu online to see if it sounds appealing.

I might also add that this is sort of a last minute trip as I just made the reservations a couple of weeks ago, but I miraculously got an ADR at BOG, there was only one time slot left and I grabbed it no questions asked! lol I've been wanting to eat there since it opened but with no luck. I also made an ADR for breakfast at Ohana on my boyfriends birthday. We will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary, my late birthday and lucky for him we will be there on his actual birthday :flower:

I've booked the following ADR's so far. I'll have 2 days alone while my husband is at a conference and I have a 4 & 6 year old. But I do plan on tweeking as I narrow down FP's. We did NOT do the dining plan (my kids eat like birds).

2/16 - Tusker House @ 11:30 am (just me and my kids)
2/17 - 1900 Park Fare @ 5:15pm (just me and my kids - not sure I can justify the cost of 1900 Park Fare - may cancel)
2/18 - Nothing yet (depends on what park we will be at)
2/19 - Disney & Vine @ 11:45 am
2/20 - California Grill @ 5:30 pm
2/21 - Akerhaus @ 11am
2/22 - Not sure yet will likely be at MK but may just do QS

I'm not a huge fan of the breakfasts at most of the restaurants I feel like they are sub-par so I booked mostly lunches. Any other suggestions for 4 & 6 year old girls? We did CRT last trip so skipping that this time.

Does anyone know if the Magic Express has car seats? We've always rented cars so we've never taken it before.

Since I like round numbers -- 120 days until we depart for Florida! :car:

Park tickets have been purchased, and arrived in the mail yesterday. That's about it for things to do until our 60-day FP+ window opens on December 9. I tortured myself by watching a Bay Lake Tower (our resort in February) video on YouTube yesterday morning. I don't know why I do that to myself. It just makes me even more anxious to leave NOW!

I am at 120 days today!!!

So excited...I found an ADR for 2 @ BOG (12:55 on 2/28) the day I posted, and another for 2 (12:45 on 2/28) today!

It will be our first visit! (The line was too long (with a preschooler) in 2013, and we didn't have FPs in 2015.)

Hopefully, anyone else "stalking" ADRs will have similar luck!

Hello, everyone! I decided to run the Princess Half marathon, so I'm now trying to set up Feb ADR's...got several, (of course, NOT BOG dinner, though). Can y'all tell me if there's a Feb cancellation thread? Thanks!

Nevermind! I found it! If anyone has and is getting rid of a BOG dinner on 2/23 - 2/26, I'd love to take it off your hands, lol!

Hi all! I just found this thread, but we (me, DH, and DD6) are heading to WDW Feb 12-19 at POFQ followed by a DCL 4 night Bahamas cruise. Pretty happy with my ADRs so far:
2/13 - Garden Grill late breakfast
2/14 - CRT breakfast, San Angel Inn dinner
2/15 - BOG PPO breakfast
2/16 - Liberty Tree Tavern lunch, Skipper's Canteen dinner
2/17 - Tusker House early dinner

Our plan so far is:
2/12 - fly in from Seattle...arrive at hotel around 10:30pm...pray this doesn't come back to bit us the next day!
2/13 - Rope Drop Epcot (hoping to see Sadness and Joy and Baymax if they are still there), evening open
2/14 - MK in the morning (hit up CRT plus some shopping and low line rides), Epcot in the late afternoon/evening (hoping for FEA FPP+ as well)
2/15 - Early MK day, focus on Fantasyland & Tomorrowland, evening open
2/16 - Later MK arrival day, focus on Liberty Square, Frontierland and Adventureland, see the parade and Wishes
2/17 - Animal Kingdom - ROL will determine our arrival time, but I'm thinking we will make it a later arrival day either way
2/18 - drive to Crystal Springs to swim with Manatees!
2/19 - Check out of POFQ, check into our cruise
2/19-2/23 - Cruising!
2/24 - Head home. :(

This is a trip of a lot of firsts for us. It will be my first time as an adult to WDW...I went once when I was 12. But it will be DH and DD6's first time. It will also be our first time on a cruise. My daughter is also building up a pin collection to do some pin trading in the parks. We're all getting pretty excited!!

I just bought my park ticket!!! :cool1:

After a lengthy deliberation over trying ParkSavers, I went with the familiarity of Undercover Tourist - even though it's costing me a little more, I'm used to them, and there is no conflicting confusing concerning language about "redemption dates."

Now I'm watching/hoping for Delta tix to get down to $315 or less.
