I would be thrilled if the reserved area for the BB dinner is at the hub, but my guess is that is not going to happen. The Hub area and the Train Station have both been used for Club 33 members, VIP Tours, etc, for the majority of this year. Not to mention there are multiple seatings each party night and no way could the Hub accomadate the amount of guests attending the dinners!

Last year the BB dinner included a reserved area for HS, hence the Hub location. This year the dinner includes a reserved area for the new parade and not the fireworks. My guess is the reserved area for the BB dinner parade viewing(that is standing, so another reason it won't be at the Hub as the Hub is a seated area) will be one of the following:

1) an area roped off near Starbucks or Carnation
2) Town Square (facing the train station)
3) Small World where the grab and go dinner folks went for Paint the Night,

If I recall correctly they are advertising it this year as parade viewing with no mention of fireworks (whereas last year it was specifically fireworks viewing), so it isn't necessarily going to be well situated for fireworks. For the price I would like to think that they would try to give adequate viewing for both, but I've heard the Paint the Night viewing location was no good for fireworks, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that's the case here too.

Interesting!! Yep, haven't been paying that close of attention.

I remember last year, they had a somewhat good view of the parade, but the benches faced the castle on the outskirts (or sidewalk surrounding) of the hub nearest Tomorrowland. With the price people are paying, I'm really surprised they won't have good viewing for both.

Based on information from a CM that books VIP Tours and other special viewings, the BB Halloween Parade viewing location will be the same area used for Paint the Night viewing -- Town Square, facing the train station.

VIP Tours will have preferred viewing at the Hub.

Question for the experts. I have a ticket for tomorrow and plan on picking it up before 4, but something came up and I have to leave before the party starts. I will be able to come back (hopefully ) before 9. Will I be let back in if I get a hand stamp and bring my ticket?

If anyone have any questions about the party let me know so I can awnser when I get home from the first party

I don't know enough to even know what to ask! But I'm hoping you'll give us a full report! :)

I'm dying to know what the parade is like. I keep going back and forth between whether I want to spend the time staking out a spot and everything or take advantage of short lines. I'm not super into parades as it is but this may be worth it!

I desperately want to know where the wheelchair seating for the parade is and how fast it fills up if you happen to be able to tell. Also, the location of the BB dinner parade area! Oh and have fun! I am so damn jealous!

Same here. I'm not crazy about parades, but a Halloween themed one is intriguing to me. I'm curious about how early parade spots are being claimed and parade crowds for the first parade vs. the second. Also just if you notice anything new or different this year. I'll be at the 9/28 party.

Speaking of which, I'm going to cancel my BB reservation for that night at 5pm, party of 2, in about 10 minutes. So if anyone is trying to get a reservation and you see this in time, go ahead and snatch it up.

If Anyone is going before next Friday Sept. 30th, could you share a little about the lines to get in, I know they let you enter 3 hours before the party.... but how soon do the lines start getting pretty insane. And could you tell if there was a wheel chair line- like to the right, left or middle?? My husband just had a knee replacement and we would like to stay out of everyone's way as best we can. Really appreciate any help- thank you!!

I could be wrong but for the regular entrance turnstiles I believe people in wheelchairs wait in the same lines as everyone else, but then when you get to the front instead of going through the turnstile, there's a little gate they open for you. But if he's concerned about getting bumped in line maybe you could wait in the line and he could position himself just off to the side of the line next to you.

That's so cool of you to offer that up! I've checked back a couple times on my date and still nada....

On the wheel chair, just wait in a regular line. When you are about 5 people back from getting in, he can wheel over to the gate next to the turnstyle and wait for you. Then, assuming there are only 2 of you. You hand both tickets to the taker and she puts them through and you push your husband through the gate.

Actually, I think that might be a good time. You can go to the toon town preparty then dinner and while you are at dinner you will miss the rush of the start of the party. You will walk out ready to start the party with full bellies and that might enable you to stay later.

What a great idea! Thank you so much! I appreciate it!

I am also curious about the crowds getting in for the party. We have an ADR on Monday for 4:10 and I'm not sure what time to head to the park. We will be using regular park admission in the morning so I am thinking we will be able to re-enter in the regular line but I'm worried about the getting through bag check...

I'm also wanting to know about the crowds for the first and second parades and finally if the fireworks from IASW show the projections and still offer a good show. We are anti wasting precious party time on staking out spots on Main Street....

I'm interested to know if there is another treat trail for AP holders this year. I saw it on last years Fresh Baked that they did, and this will (more than likely) be my only MHP as an AP holder...it would be fun to get something special!

I feel like this can be hard to predict and might vary from party to party but I plan to go with a common sense strategy.

Now my plan is not foolproof and based only on best guesses but since I too will have full day admission I certainly don't want to get stuck behind all the party only people as there admission window opens and they all get to security together...you know all those people who may take longer through security because they didn't bother reading or following the new costume guidelines.Bag check can be frustrating on a good day with no costumes, so I am really all about getting in front of those costumed people.

Since my party starts at 6 and party only people can enter the park at 3:00 I plan to be be at bag check at 2:00. I then will go to where we can pick up our wristbands and and munch on a snack while we wait. We have a 4:10 ADR I want to check in for at 3:30 so we are just going to meander and take things slow. hopefully its a solid plan.

Sounds like a good plan! How long are you going to stay in the park in the morning?

Not that long-I am worried about overdoing the little ones because what I really want is for them to hang in there until pretty late on party night. I'm thinking that we will sleep in a bit on Wednesday-roll into the parks from like 10-12. Then break until 2:00. I know things tend to get crowded pretty bad on main street when the non-party guests are leaving at the same time as some party guest are arriving and its two crowds headed in opposite directions down a narrow passage and it creates a bit of a crush so I want to be well away from there when that happens.

Thanks so much for doing this! I'm interested in the bag check/security procedures, especially for costumes and props. I know your costumes are more elaborate, and beautiful, but they don't involve capes, long skirts, props, etc. So if you see something going on with other guests when you go through security, please let us know!
