We have a night at BWV before a 4 night DCL cruise and then a 7 night WDW stay at Jambo, will the mugs I buy at the BWV still work at Jambo? Or would it be best just to buy them at Jambo?

The mugs are usually valid for fourteen days. So you can buy them at BWV and they would still be good for Jambo.

They will be an available credit on your account (like a meal credit), so just bring the mugs to the cashier and they will scan your magic band for the credit.

It is my understanding that I can use my mug in other resorts other than the one that I am staying?
i.e. I can use it at Poly and I stay at CBR?

Also, can I get milk? I wonder if I need to buy a carton for my DD.

I'm currently at the Beach Club, and they have cardboard drink holders(like McDonalds) .

good to hear, I usually do the early morning coffee run and was able to carry 4 with handles

This is the 1st trip we are staying on property and 1st time using the dining plan so we know we get the mugs but is it only soda, water, iced tea? Can we put coffee in them? Is there apple juice for my 4 year old?

We are not big soda drinkers and it seems like everyone fills these up before they go to the park. I don't want to drink soda before lunch. My dh & I would fill coffee for us and water/juice for our toddler.

It's for all the drinks at the fountain stations. Mostly sodas, but they also have lemonade, iced tea, and coffee

A handle-less cup will fit in a car cup holder better than the one with a handle. I never use my mugs post-Disney for this very reason--wouldn't fit in the cup holder! But, at Disney, the handle is an option that I will definitely miss. I suppose on the next trip, we can bring out old RFID ones with a handle to use at Disney and pick up the handle-less ones for use at home. Like someone else, said, I have NEVER had a handle break off and we have mugs that are probably 10 years old.

I'm piggy backing off of the pp's question. Do I just need my MB to get both mugs for dh and I or do I need his MB too? We check in late and I'll be up before him and I will go down and get our mugs and coffee.

You'll only need your magic band. All the credits for everyone in the room are pooled, so anyone in the room can redeem any of the credits, including the mugs.
