I meant to ask this earlier but forgot - what is Scareactor dining?

It's a dining experience for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal that started last year. Basically it's like character dining at Disney only with the people that will be scaring you in haunted houses or scare zones later. It's held at what's normally a QS place, and I thought the food was pretty blah last year (but I was also pretty sick and couldn't really taste at the time). I did like the banana chocolate bread pudding though. But they hold it while the park transitions over to Halloween Horror Nights where the only thing to do normally is stay within certain holding areas. Despite the food we had a lot of fun last year with the scare actors and prefer it to sitting on the ground waiting so we booked it again.

Cool! That does sound better than waiting on the ground. How long do you have to wait?

I have not gotten up the courage to try HHN. I realize they can't touch me and so I'm totally safe but my brain just buys into it all. I'm like that with movies, too. I get sucked right in as if I know those characters or it's happening to me too. Which can make movies really fun or really frightening. But I do like some scary stuff. It's really a crap shoot as to how I'm going to react. Which is why I've never given it a try. Though I find myself really curious about HHN.

Wow, your outfits are all really great! I love that you have so many Mickey ears. I think Blair would disown me if I bought that many ears! However, what he doesn't know....

I love your pre-MNSSHP shirt and your To Infinity and Beyond. I can't wait to see you dressed up in all of these. You'll have to stop and take a picture of yourself each time that you change on your trip!

I also LOVE Josh's Rescue Rangers tee. It brings back such great memories for me. You'll have to tell him that you did a really good job picking out shirts for him.

I just read a review of Art Smith's Homecoming and the pictures looked soooo good! But I'd have to go with apps and dessert, and then when I showed Steve the menu he was just "eh". So don't think we'll be hitting that this month I really only had him look at the menu because he mentioned possibly wanting to go to DS now on arrival night......oh well, I think you made a good choice adding it to your line up!

I'm feeling better this week and I may have ordered a few more Disney related things. I decided I needed some simple Halloween ears and then I saw the Halloween merchandise at the Disney store and I just had to buy it. We normally prefer to order the mugs than carry them home in our luggage anyway, and I actually really liked the shirt. So to get free shipping I had to get something else, and well I've been eyeing those MagicBandits for awhile.

The answer is week 4 and nope.

But they are asking me to work overtime tomorrow night for a few hours. I didn't really wannnt to, but I accepted because I know some overtime before the trip would be nice. (They never ever offer us overtime unless it's their last possible resort).

We're still not making much progress watching Disney movies. Although if I watch them all now I won't have anything left for waiting till our next few trips. I'm waiting till all the Disney movies are on Netflix so I don't have to rent them. It seems a waste to pay for them when in 2 weeks they'll be free. So we've still been watching Criminal Minds. Josh is actually almost done with it. I think by next week he'll be all caught up.

I also just realized a lot of you who read my TR have trips planned in earlier September than I do. So for my last 2 weeks of updates I won't have many of you reading. So I guess I should probably start posting my itinerary either this week or during my next week update. I thing is I'm still changing things

Also I really really wanted to eat at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming. The food just looks so delicious, but it didn't fit anywhere on our schedule. Then they added EMH for Magic Kingdom on one day of our trip but we weren't planning to be there then. So I switched things around. We were doing Epcot/HS and the Star Wars dessert party on Sep 21st, and MK on the 22nd. Now we're doing Epcot/MK on the 21st, and MK/HS and the Star Wars dessert party on the 22nd. I also moved our LTT reservation back to December (where it was originally) and added one for Homecoming. Crowd wise this makes more sense too (according to Touringplans at least).

Ours should be going out any time now. Last year we got them 25 days before we left, but this time I think it'll probably be a few days later since we're already at 26 days.
