New FD Bounceback is out

What happens if you book the BB but need to change dates months later (waiting on school calendar). Can you still get offer if you booked BB and dates are within BB offer?

Yes, you can change your dates as long as your new dats fall within the bounce back offer dates. And as long as there is still availability. You may have to change resorts or room categories if your original resort or category is no longer available. The regular call center CM might not be able to make the change tho. They may have to transfer you to guest services to help you.

So let me get this straight. If I fly down on September 7, spend the night on-site, and return on the 8th (Total cost <$300) I can save over $1300 for a family of 4 if our vacation falls within the window for the FD BB offer?

Does the room where I stay determine the room where I can book? Or can I stay in the lowliest value and book at the fanciest allowed deluxe resort, for example?
I was wondering the same thing. I called and you can stay just one night and be eligible for the offer. I am even wondering if you did online check-in if you even need to actually fly down there. Would they know if you actually accessed the room. When we stayed at WL last year I went straight to my room when the text came telling me the room was ready. Didn't go to the desk at checkout either. I was sent an email. Just a thought?

Quick question from a friend (I've only ever done RO BB). Does your entire stay need to be within the offered dates for the free dining bouneback offer? In other words, can you book a FD BB and have it extend past the "valid days"? Thanks!
Yes...we went this past June on FD BB that we booked at the end of July last summer. As long as you check in by the last day of the offer, you get the offer for your entire stay. We checked in June 5 and stayed until June 15. The BB offer was good for check in up until June 7. Since we were there before June 7, we got FD for the entire trip. Saved us a ton of money.

Would they know if you actually accessed the room?

Amy, I'm pretty certain that the only ways to get a code are to find the physical copy in your room or call from your room to receive it. No way to get it unless someone is physically there. It's also probably against Disney policy, but difficult to catch, to get yourself listed on the reservation of someone else who will be using the room, and have that person tell you the code so you can call remotely before they check out. I bet nobody ever does that.

I bet it would be possible, but it would be risky. What if they didn't text you and they couldn't check you in? Not everyone gets the texts even when they check in online.

You don't need a code. Just dial the number on the brochure (posted at the beginning of the thread) and ask for the free dining bounce back. Once you give them your info. they will know that you are a guest at a Disney resort with a current stay. You've paid for the room. But I'm assuming if you don't get your text, and don't physically check in, you'd be considered a no-show, so you'd be unable to book the BB. Risky.

Last year when I booked a BB I think it said in the brochure you must call from your in room phone.

Has anyone ever done this? You really don't need a code?

You don't need the code, from your room you would dial x8844 and ask to book the BB - I have done this many times as very often, the brochure isn't even in my room. I will say though that you DO need to be physically checked into the hotel as they will ask for your reservation number and will confirm that you are indeed a guest - no way around that one.

We always call from the room, but I don't think you have to. You can just call the number on the day you check out at the latest. I thought I've heard of others doing that.

So if someone forgot the brochure, checked out, and tried to make a bounce back reservation while waiting for their flight at MCO, they would call the number on the brochure at the beginning of this thread and everything should be ok?

Where is the room only bb info?

There is no room only BB right now. Only the FD, best as I can tell.

The person you quoted said "Or did you see new room discount bounce back info too?" Not "Or did you see THE new room discount bounce back info too?"

Yep, I went back also and reread, and realized I had misunderstood....thanks. We'll be interested to see what is offered when we get there!

I believe so.

Are you talking about the free dining bounce back? Or did you see new room discount bounce back info too? Thanks!
FD only, I believe the RO BB does not come out til end of Sept or in Oct. I do not know why WDW breaks them up, but i'm sure they have their reasons:)

You do not have to call from your room phone to book the BB. I called the full number and not just the extension from my cell phone while walking around All Star Sports resort and booked ours. They just asked if I was staying on site, where, and what my reservation number was to verify I was a guest on site.

Not necessarily...my first year booking a BB, I did just that and they would not let me book. I had the last flight out of MCO and tried calling from the airport and when i did and gave them my resort information they told me I could not book because I was completely checked out of the resort. They knew I had already been picked up by magical express and was off the property.
