Hello, I just wanted to check will VB accept parcels for a guest a few days before they arrive? Thanks!

How do the refillable mugs work if you already have them from an onsite hotel? We will be in Disney Sunday-Tuesday, at Universal for a few days midweek and are checking into Vero on that Friday. We will have the dining plan and refillable mugs for the few days we are at Disney Sunday-Tuesday. Would we still be able to use our refillable mugs without paying again by the time we check into Vero for the weekend?

We kept the receipt from the dining plan when we used the refillable mugs for the first time at WDW on the DDP. We brought the receipt at check in at Vero and the mugs and as instructed they had my DH bring the mugs, receipt, to the gift shop and they re-activated them. No problems , ENJOY!!

I was under the understanding that they are good for 14 days from activation. Save receipt for documentation.

Yes, they will. Last August we were in Vero for our daughter's birthday and so ordered something from amazon. Just make sure the address reads Disney's Vero Beach on the top line, then your name below. We forgot to put DVB in the address (simply put our name, then street address), and the front desk CM said they almost didn't accept it.

Has anyone had any luck with DVC wait listing at Vero? We really want to add on Friday 10/28 and it is currently unavailable. Is there something happening that weekend in the area? Saturday night is available-we just cant get Friday

I got 4th of July when we had the 5th & I had really no hope. But it came through about 2 months out. Good luck!

We are staying in a studio for the first time. (We've always done 1 or 2 bedrooms in the past). Only 3 of us this time so we're giving a studio a try. We don't spend much time in the room so I think we'll be ok. But it It will be our first time without our own laundry or full kitchen. I know there are laundry facilities on site -- does anyone know where they are located? Also, do the buildings have ice machines?

We are not Florida residents or DVC members but will be staying on points. Are there any dining discounts available besides the Tables in Wonderland card? It would be great if Disney would offer some sort of dining plan! We do have a Disney Visa....

Random Post here about the renovated rooms - Just got back from a week at VB. We were in a newly renovated 1 bedroom villa in building 15 and while the redecorated room was lovely I found that my issue (or complaint) is the lack of shelves for personal items in the bathrooms. There is no longer any storage space for toiletries, etc. we ended up piling our toiletry bags and items on the floor in the corner. :-(

Is there a good bakery nearby or will Disney make cakes on request? We will be celebrating a birthday during our trip in October!
