Photo pass + is back!

Here today and photo pass plus is back at a price of $69.00 for a week of photos. So glad it is back, but sad that it was on the last day of our trip because we skipped taking the ton of photo pass photos we usually do because of the $40 per day price. Glad Disney listened to the complaints, but sad the change happened on our 4th day and we will be missing out on all our usual pictures.

I'd be disappointed with that timing too! I hope the photos you did get were good ones. :)

Woo hoo! Fantastic news but sorry the timing was awful for your trip!
Wonder if the borders are back too?

Yay and Boo! We were just there. Am glad it will be available for our next trip though!

edited...we did focus all our pic taking on one, but have some from our other days. It sounds like since I have purchased our pics yet, I can still buy this and get the photos from the other days even if there aren't a lot!

They said they believe the borders should be back. There is also a $99 and $119 option. Not sure what all the differences are except that the higher priced ones include the CD in addition to digital and a stock disc of photos. Originally we had 2 people tell us that if we bought the highest priced one that they would add our dining photos from the last couple of days onto it, but the machine wasn't doing it after they found the photos so then a manager came and told them they could not do it and we were out of luck on our dining photos.

Is it called Magical Maker now or is that disneyworld?

Memory maker is world, they are still calling it photopass here.

What exactly do you get with this?

Do I buy on line? If so can you put the link on

Thank you

We are in the park so I have not seen it online yet, but I bet it is there. They told us it should be online today.

You should be able to, just not the dining if you did not purchase the package at the meal. They told us that we would be able to, so when they went back on what they first told us on dining, we elected to wait until we got home to buy it.

So it sounds like we need to purchase the Photopass One Week prior to the trip in order to get everything that is included?

We broke down and bought the dining photos. It was dd's bday and we had our niece with us and an annual pass discount, so splurged. We would have taken WAY more photo pass photos had we known, but I am still excited they changed it while I can still benefit somewhat. Feels like a bonus! HA!

This is what's included (from the Disney Photopass Service FaceBook Post):

During your visit, let Disney PhotoPass Photographers capture all the fun and magical moments for you! You’ll find our Photographers by the Park entrances, main icons, and at most Disney Character Experience locations. The following attraction and dining locations also offer photo capture:

Disneyland Resort Participating Attractions:

• California Screamin’
• Radiator Springs Racers

• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™**

Disneyland Resort Participating Dining Locations:

• Goofy’s Kitchen in Disneyland Hotel
• Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park

This post also says that if you purchase in advance, you log into the Photopass website or Disneyland App and activate it when you're ready to begin using it.

The post has some good info about what's included.

Great news! I upgraded to a Signature Pass just for photos. But in the future when we don't have APs I will buy this.

Yay. We used PhotoPass almost every trip. Because we always go for a minimum of five days, would never use the $40 for one day option. I just figured this would never be an option again. So glad, for once, Disney listened.

That is great news. I always bought the CD in the past. Now, I can go, and get the one week, and then download all my pics. Good thinking Disney.

What do you mean purchase the package at the meal?

This is great news! Thank you for posting. I have a question though. Are the ride photos included if you do the $40 one day option?

Yes, but you have to make sure you have the correct photo ID number to enter, so take a picture of that and make sure it's a clear one.

I'm glad PP+ is back, but also bummed that we didn't get to use it on our last trip, and didn't upgrade to APs until we were leaving, so didn't get the usual number of PP pix we would normally, either. We also concentrated on one day. But, getting the Signature AP meant that we DID get all of our ride photos, regardless of the day.

Is it really true that the borders are back? My pix are still active, so, if they are, I'm totally going back and editing.
