Not sure what is up with DW... in our 22 years of marriage we have NEVER gone out on Valentine's day. This year we have booked a room at the oceanfront for Sunday night. When I told her that it is going to be too cold to walk the boardwalk (High of 29 for Sunday and lows in the teens) she said "That's ok... I didn't plan to leave the room anyway"
Not sure if this is a setup.... I asked if I was going with her.

Yep. You're going with her. And you're going to be subjected to watching a chick flick marathon on the Lifetime channel with her.

No pictures but she also took us into a store for employees that was located behind the mk where they sold all the stuff that didn't get sold in the parks, overstock,damaged etc... They also sold things like props etc.. Out of the parks and resorts. Again, I tried to not act the tourist but man, they had huge pieces of carpet that was taken out of attractions in the mk and Epcot. I could have had a 20x20 slab of carpet that was in the figment ride with the rides logo for $75. I wanted to tie it to the roof of the Benz but Tammy said she would leave me there and I could live with my carpet. They had a fully decorated Christmas tree for 120. It was 20 ft tall.lol
I bought China plates with the contemporary logo, pictures that hung on the wall in Okw, shirts, all kinds of statues. When she took us in, she was on her way to work so she was in costume, ear piece hanging off her collar, her and I went up to the register and the cashier asked if one of us was a cast member? " nope, always dress like this " lol

I imagine our crew would buy that place out in a hurry if they ever let us in there.

Funny you mentioned that Don. Today was my seventh month window and the 15 night, Boardwalk 1 bedroom villa is confirmed !!!! Yes, just Tammy and I !!!!
Briana needs to branch out. Her best friend from the college program lives in Oregon and has flown in twice to see Briana. I told her she needs to take some time and fly out to see her.
My in laws live in Florida, her friend can fly into Florida and so can Briana, stay at the in laws for free and head up to wdw.
I love her dearly but..... It's time to start making your own way in life. You have a good job, got some time off, go do it!!! Some birdies fly out of the nest and others need to be nudged out, I got a nudger !!! Lol

Did I mention she spent nine days in Florida between Christmas and the weekend after New Years and is going back for four more days in two weeks? All with Tammy.

They both have friends who still work at wdw and can get the discount tickets. So the only thing it will cost is air, some food and park tickets. Not to mention, makes almost as much as I do. Lol

That was in the stone an tablet years when I did not take pics nor were there phones that could take pictures. I think the only one I have is a picture of my host and his family dressed up in costume. No pictures of me being stupid thankfully. But hey, I didn't get arrested.

I managed to land one of her costumes on eBay. I had the thing put in a shadow box with a card board copy of her name tag and the picture from Father's Day. It hangs in her bedroom above her bed.

That is too cool.

I think Dave has insert more Disney into this thread in the past week than the entire thread before it! Thanks for posting all those great pics, Dave! I'm not sure you love your daughter enough though... you need to take her back to WDW some more.

Be careful though guys as I think my DD got the frog instead of a prince And it is not just flying away or being nudged, it's when are they off the "payroll"
