Club Disney Closing?

This make sense with club villain being cancelled in March. Obviously something else is planned for this venue. We just don't know what that is yet.

Due to recent casting calls, it is speculation that a SW themed event would take over the space. Now granted, this is from the SW thread so they may be a little excited and jump the gun. lol

casting calls again, I'm guessing this will go into Club Disney:
they are seeking male and female Interactive Actors/Hosts for a new Star Wars offering: Ability to facilitate to and entertain large groups. Comedic timing and captivating energy is a must. Knowledge of all things Star Wars preferred.
Auditions are Feb 2nd with callbacks the week after...same call went out last year, I think it was around October. Either they didn't find the right people or they are hiring more...

There are some participants on the SW thread that have CM friends who work in shows and at DHS, so I think some of the info may be a little bit more than enthusiastic speculation. However, I wouldn't take it as law either. That it starts sooner rather than later is probably enthusiastic speculation though

Nah...Disney won't do that...they're never repetitive about these things...

Like they weren't repetitive about the space mountain overlay...and they weren't repetitive about putting the 1996 sound system on space mountain at wdw...which is ridiculous

Technically DHS doesn't have season of the force. They just have Star Wars offerings.

I think they are calling it Stars Wars Awakens, which lends itself to a permanent Star Wars experience. I think it's on some of the webpages, and I saw it on a TV commercial. I like it better than Season of the Force, because seasons end.

I don't think it goes to Epcot. I think it goes to MK. But the question is where do you hold it? The horseshoe has been used for events in the past but I don't know if it's big enough. Otherwise maybe one of the theaters or even the tomorrowland terrace? Who knows.

Do you think they would do some sort of Star Wars experience doing the day and then do Club Villain as a night time event?

I don't feel like Club Villain fits in Epcot. It fits perfectly in the Sunset Blvd area IMO, and would be a great draw for DHS during the construction.

My fantasy is that they then open a villains land in DHS.

Well. Here i am again talking about club villain!!! i just got off the phone with disney dinning and they said that as of right now club villain will be closing on march 20th. that makes me sad as i wanted to go see it in may but something things don't work out and that is all right.
