I Can't Do That! I'd Be Too EmBEARassed! A Nov 2015 TR New PTR link 10/13!

Don't blame you for wanting to get on Soarin before the refurb!

Glad you were able to meet up with everyone, sounds like you were having a great time so far! Love the photo of the 3 of you and the unintended matching shirts!

I love getting an early no-wait ride on Soarin'!! Mom and I made sure to take a ride this trip, too. Can't wait to see the revamp when we go in December!!!! That will be a tough FP to get, I'm sure, so hopefully we score one or I'll be standing at the rope waiting for sure!!!!

Love the ladies all in red!

This is the day I finally got to meet you and Mo, too!! :)

Yay!!!! We meet again!!!

This was such a fun morning! I loved spending a lot of time with you and sharing so many rides together!

I love that picture of us - Can't believe that we didn't plan that. LOL

Can't wait to hear about the rest of our day! :woohoo:

D~

Yay! I am all caught up... I love the TOT photo, how awesome you all had the ride to yourselves pixiedust:

I am loving AOA seeing it from your photos, I must stay here some time. My nephew would love the Cars area, the Carsland ride in California is sooooo FUN :car: !

HDDR - what a great time for you guys! From the food & drinks, to Tom & Mo dancing (way to egg them on)! To you being in the show party:I loved living vicariously through you & Mo's posts on this dinner!

I can't wait for the new Soarin!

Monica

I love your pics of the Soarin Que. Are you sure you all didn't plan those red shirts? The pics are too cute!

And OMG I would totally only want to see "The Hoop" I could never be in the show. Seriously I don't know how you did it. I had to give a small presentation on Lost Time Claims at our annual company meeting and I thought I was going to pass out. I was the only presenter who actually used the podium and it was really just to hold me up!

I will miss the old movie but I am really looking forward to the new one! I was definitely having a great trip that's for sure.

I love the picture of the 3 of you and your matching red.

Thanks! Bradey did a great job taking that one.

Excellent, I've got it bookmarked, will try to read later this week or early next week. I'm busy right now at work, shouldn't even be updating right now, but should have some time next week.

Yay!!!! We meet again!!!

Spending time with you, Suzi and Mo was the highlight of this trip. I really hope we can do it again someday!

That TOT picture is just epic isn't it? I had a lot of fun touring AOA and even more fun at that HDDR dinner!

I love your pics of the Soarin Que. Are you sure you all didn't plan those red shirts? The pics are too cute!

Nope, didn't plan the red shirts at all! I'm not sure how I did the HDDR show I have horrible stage fright and hate having to give presentations at work. I think I was just so in the moment that I went for it. And of course the sangria didn't hurt.

I totally forgot about the nightmare you had about it!!! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

YAY your up and ready and out the door! what's that like?!?!

Yep, that nightmare was a good one but I was able to laugh about it later and of course the night didn't go that way.

It's quite easy to get up and out the door when you are by yourself!

Fun DIS meet! And the (unplanned) matching shirts are cute!

Soarin' is one of my favorites so I had to get it in that morning! It wasn't my last ride for the week either.

Finally, the Epic DIS Meet

Mo and family had decided to ride Figment right behind us so it wasn’t but another minute till they came out and we were finally all together! We didn’t take a picture at that moment because we had a shared FP to get to so we headed towards Test Track. I’m pretty sure we made some bathroom stops along the way.

Our FP+ were all overlapping but not exactly the same time so we were a few minutes early for some in our group. We all sat on the wall outside of Test Track and talked for a few minutes. That’s when D took this epic selfie.

Poor Mo did not get the red memo. I promise we did not plan the red although Mo thought we did! I actually switched outfits at the last minute that morning because I wanted to wear something Christmas for a special dinner I was heading too that night.

Once all of our FP were available we got in the FP line. Since we had nine of us, they grouped us in threes. Mo, Meg and I designed one car while Bradey, D and Suzi were on a second station. Tom, Zack and Matt rounded out the last threesome. Mo and I stood back and let Meg do most of the designing and we ended up with this awesome car.

Meg is a girl after my own heart, I loved the pink!

Mo, Meg, Suzi, D, Bradey and I ended up all in the same car. I don’t think poor Bradey liked all of our screaming.

I was worried that we had traumatized him since it was his first time on the ride but Suzi said he loved it.

We played a bit in the exit area, all I have to say is those video game cars are very hard to drive! I could not get my car to do anything except go in circles.

We all parted ways at this point. D, Suzi and Bradey headed back to Food & Wine and Mo and her family headed to the Seas with Nemo to use their FP. I had a special mission though. After my wonderful meet with Pluto the first day, I wanted to meet him again, especially since I had my Pluto Christmas gear on. I also had a Nemo FP so I told Mo I would try to catch up with them but not to worry about waiting for me. I had no idea how long the line for Pluto would take.

There was a line for Pluto but it went pretty fast. Mainly because Pluto was a bit of a dud on this day. I barely got a hug and a few photos before I was done. What a letdown after the fun meet and greet on my first day!

I headed towards the Seas building, texting Mo as I walked. I didn’t hear back from her but I remembered that there was absolutely no cell reception inside the Seas building. So I headed into the FP line with the hopes of finding them inside.

As I exited the ride I pretty much ran smack into Tom and the boys! We went upstairs were Mo was and I took a few pictures of the aquarium. We didn’t last long in there because it was super hot and crowded in the building.

They had a hoop out for the dolphins to swim through. I can never get good photos thanks to the blue lighting in this building.

We had FPs for Turtle Talk with Crush but I don’t think any of us wanted to stay in that hot, crowded building any longer so we headed back out.

Our next stop was Cool Club where I took zero pictures. I already knew about the Beverly as did the kids but they were all goofy and tried it again. Not me! I know how nasty it is. One of the boys (I have no idea at this point which one but I bet Mo remembers) managed to trick her into trying Beverly by topping it off with a splash of another soda to change the color. I wish I had gotten a picture of her face because it was pretty funny. I’m not sure she thought it was though.

Mo and family had a lunch ADR at Teppen Edo so we headed towards WS with a brief stop to get some PP pictures.

As we entered the UK pavilion, we ran right into Jackie (missjackiemcg on the DIS) and her mom. We stopped to chat for a bit but we were bad DISers and forgot to take a picture. It was wonderful chatting with you for a bit Jackie!

I had decided by that time that after getting sick the previous day, I really didn’t want to risk more weird food. When we finished talking to Jackie, I said see ya later to Mo’s gang and got in line at Yorkshire Fish shop. I figured some Fish and Chips would be a safer option than the Food and Wine offerings.

I found a table down by the lake which was nice but a little hard because it was very breezy and I kept eating my hair along with the fish & chips.

When I ate there previously, the dessert was sugar cookies which were really good. This time though it was a choice between Victoria Sponge Cake filled with Jam (which did not sound good to me at all) or Clementines. I went with the Clementines even though they are not my favorite. I figured I could put them in my purse and eat them for breakfast the next day.

I really didn’t have any set plans for the afternoon and my feet were really hurting at this point. I ended up switching to my older tennis shoes the next day and that helped a ton but for right now I felt like doing stuff that was off of my feet.

I did wandered through some of the stores in UK and checked out the line for Tigger and Pooh. It stretched all the way across the little courtyard and I really did not want to stand in that line.

So to get off my feet, I headed to France and went here:

That movie is beautiful and I love the soft comfy seats in the theater. It’s a longer movie at about 20 minutes so it’s a great place to relax (or maybe even nap in some air conditioning).

Since I hadn’t eaten any dessert, I stopped at Morocco and picked up a cookie and also some water to stay hydrated. I sat on a bench and enjoyed my cookie while watching the crowds go by.

Next I headed to Japan because I love shopping in the store there. My goal was to do Pick-a-Pearl but the park was very crowded on this day and the Pearl counter was packed. No big deal, I’d done Pick-a-Pearl enough times in the past.

As I headed into America I saw that a group called America Music Machine was about to start in the America Gardens Theater. I had no idea who they were but I figured if I hated them I could get up and leave. It turns out they are an a cappella group which is something I really enjoy. They were very good and sang mostly contemporary songs.

Since I enjoyed this a cappella group so much I decided to go see another one, Voices of Liberty, across the way. I was early so I took a seat on the floor under the big dome.

By the time the concert was over, it was around 3 pm and I really wanted to make it to HS for the lighting of the Osborne Lights at 5:30 so I turned around and headed back towards the International Gate. I decided to walk as far as the Beach Club because there was a limited edition Beach Club pin with Pluto on it that I wanted to get.

That was just the best thing ever - riding TT with everyone!!!! I had so much fun meeting up with all of you... I still wish we could have spent more time together. But - I am happy that we were able to enjoy the time we could.

Sorry that Pluto was a dud - but I have to say - your entire outfit (bag included) just photographed very nicely - the red truly pops off of the background and Pluto here. I love how it turned out!

Your food looks delicious... I am missing Disney food in a bad way right now... I dunno why? Because at the end of trips I am always so sick of it. LOL

I love seeing Voices of Liberty - one of my favorites! Glad you were able to enjoy them too! :lovestruc

D~

I love that Test Track picture! It is funny that you all except for Mo wore red that day.

That sucks that this Pluto meet was a dud.

I've always wanted to try the fish and chips but my sisters don't eat fish and they didn't like anything else on that menu.

I really wanted to see the voices of Liberty this past trip but I didn't get to unfortunately.

Poor Mo did not get the red memo.

No i did not...

I promise we did not plan the red although Mo thought we did!

I still do...

I actually switched outfits at the last minute that morning because I wanted to wear something Christmas for a special dinner I was heading too that night.

Likely excuse.. Did D~ pay you to say that???

One of the boys (I have no idea at this point which one but I bet Mo remembers) managed to trick her into trying Beverly by topping it off with a splash of another soda to change the color. I wish I had gotten a picture of her face because it was pretty funny. I’m not sure she thought it was though.

ZACK!!! That little RAT!!! I couldn't BELIEVE he got me! That's what I get for trusting MY OWN SON!!!
Rotten little kids....

Mo and family had a lunch ADR at Teppen Edo so we headed towards WS with a brief stop to get some PP pictures.

Did we do the Agent P thing here?? or was it another day? I haven't looked at my pictures that far out yet.

I really didn’t want to risk more weird food. When we finished talking to Jackie, I said see ya later to Mo’s gang and got in line at Yorkshire Fish shop. I figured some Fish and Chips would be a safer option than the Food and Wine offerings.

NO! The food was messing with everyone's stomach!
I will say i really wanted some of that fish and chips!!! YUM YUM!

It turns out they are an a cappella group which is something I really enjoy.

We saw them too.. AMAZING!! Such talent!!!

It is funny that you all except for Mo wore red that day.

SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE rub it in...

As you can see my Son AND Friends were all conspiring AGAINST ME!
Rats.. they are all rats!

UGH. Still kicking myself that we didn't take a picture!! I actually thought about it at first, but didn't want to seem like a crazy DIS celebrity stalker!! Now I am SO bummed! Let's go back so we can have a do-over, k? :rainbow:

We saw that a capella group, too! They were SO awesome!! Somehow still didn't get Mom in to see Voices of Liberty. UGh. Good thing we're going again :) :-)

Great selfie!

Love the car Meg designed for you guys :)

Sorry Pluto wasn't as fun today. Nice pics at least.

Sounds like a fun time wandering around World Showcase!

What a great day!!

You should of tried the Victoria sandwich with jam as it's a yummy vanilla/white/plain cake with jelly (normally strawberry) in the middle, it's the cake I bake the most at home although I add buttercream to the middle :)

The singers all sound great, I really must get better at stopping and watching things.

Then we had Bradey take a picture of the three of us. And no, we did not plan the red shirts for the day!

That’s when D took this epic selfie.

I don’t think poor Bradey liked all of our screaming.

I think these are my 3 favorite pictures of the day!!

I love that Zack tricked Mo in trying the Beverley again! LOL That's something I could see my nephew or brother doing.

I'm sorry Pluto was such a dud :( It suck when that happens & it's your favorite character. We had a couple of character meets that were like that last time too.

Mmmmm Clementines. I would have picked that over the jam filled cake as well, but I love them. That's a pretty good portion size too.

Even though the interaction of the Pluto meet was a dud the pics are fabulous!! The Dismeet sounds like it was a blast. I just love Epcot! Can't wait to read about your DHS evening!

Hi...joining in....great trip report! Loved that you were picked to be the Can-Can girl.... looked like such an awesome experience and fun memory / keepsake to have :thumbsup2 It's amazing how much you can accomplish on a solo trip!
