"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I've been watching this thread for weeks in anticipation of my party on Thursday, only 3 days away! Thank you to everyone for their posts, the information has been so helpful as this will be my first MNSSHP. Has anyone seen the vampire Mickey popcorn buckets and if so, where are they available at?

Can anyone who has been lately and on a rain-free night whether the last Hocus Pocus show is shortened? I'm still unsure whether that last show is always shortened, or has just been shortened on certain nights due to weather.

What is the best strategy wiht two young kids (4 and 8) to see the first parade, hocus pocus show and fireworks?
I might be overwhelmed but I can't get this organized in my mind...where to sit. We can wait if we need we are not doing characters.

My kids are 5 & 9, and intend to do the fireworks from the FP+ area in front of Casey's. Hocus Pocus will be full center court for us, but I'm not sure which show we'll go for yet. I'm planning on the second parade in Frontierland, but will adjust if Main Street isn't crowded.

I would love to know this as well.... there doesn't seem to be much info about the later hours of the party. Maybe most people have been leaving?

I asked this a few pages back and didn't get a response. :(
Hopefully someone who has experience can respond!

I purchased the Mickey Vampire bucket at the popcorn stand right outside of City Hall a few days ago before we left for home. It is awesome! It is currently sitting in our living room on our entertainment center. Too cute! They also had the Cinderella Coach one. I saw the Nero one at the popcorn stand by Space Mountain/People Mover.

Oh, and this was not on my MNSSHP day. I got this a few days later. So they are available to buy outside of the party times.

We saw them for sale during regular hours at Hollywood studios last Thursday.

Thank you so much for this information! I want to use him as a decoration, too.

I don't think it was shortened last Friday. It was about 20 minutes and seemed to be the same show I had seen earlier in the night. There could have been a few small changes, though, that wouldn't have stood out?? How much shorter was the one you saw?

Did tonight's party sell out? I thought for sure it would being the holiday weekend, but haven't heard any reports.
We are here now waiting for the 10:40 Spelltacular show - the park is basically empty. We got here at 6 and walked around. At 7 saw Donald and Daisy and Minnie with no wait. Then rode rides- Mansion and Peter Pan with 10 minute waits. Went to Jack and Sally - 20 minute wait. No one here for the 10:49 show - really virtually empty!! So awesome and a nice cool night!

Our trip doesn't start until Thursday. Some people up thread noted that the last show was shorter, but I'm pretty sure that was only on nights with delays due to weather, so I wanted to confirm.

I would also love the answer to this question. We leave in 12 days can't wait. Wishing everyone a magical vacation!

Just got back not too long ago. Is there going to be a "have you seen me" thread here anywhere?! I saw some awfully adorable outfits/matching sets all night.

this makes me happy for those who can find them...but bums me out that those who paid for parties in Sept couldn't get them, and now they aren't even the party "exclusive" they were made out to be. sniff sniff, first world disney problems right???

Can you buy them for a cheaper price w/o popcorn?

This has been a great thread with loads of valuable info. Looking for folks opinion - I had dinner ressies at 5:50 on party night ( we have park and party tickets) - I am thinking this is a waste of valuable character meet and ride time and it makes more sense to just find stuff to eat as we are in the park. I had also planned to do HS earlier in the day but from what I read, it might make more sense to relax for the day or do some Disney Springs time in the AM, rest and then head to party at 4. My kids have NO clue they are going yet so its hard to know whether things like Jack and Sally will matter to them along with some of the other characters. MY priorities are the ghost photos I have read about, parade and Hocus Pocus show as well as rides and TOT. Speaking of photos, if we buy the make your memories package for our trip will the party automatically be included given we have party tix or do I have to buy a separate memory maker for the party? TIA!

Sorry, I did not ask. I wanted the popcorn haha! I had never had "disney" popcorn so it was a bonus for me with the awesome Vampire Mickey. And they did not put it in the Mickey, it comes as a side in it's own paper container. I liked that as he stayed clean and wrapped up.
