Well, I guess it is not a naming poll, but a "what should we call her" poll.
We have chosen a family name. It goes something like this. My mom is named with the initials M.E. She then took her name and tweaked it slightly to name me with the initials E.M. Now I want to flip it again, again with a slight variation, for our daughter so she would be M.E.
Her first name would be the same as my cousin (already been discussed and she is happy about it) and a slight variation of my mom's name, my middle name and my aunt's name.
Today my mom said you know, you could call her by her initials, think Em-EE sounding. I think it is kind of cute.
So would you call her by her first name, which is the same as my cousin and a slight variation of my aunt and mother or would you call her something different?
(Background, DS's name is the same as my grandfather, uncle and cousin, oddly enough the twin of the above cousin. Uncle uses shortened nickname, cousin uses another informal nickname and DS uses the full formal name.)
