"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Still haven't purchased my tickets yet for this. Playing it "dangerous". I still plan on the 10th of November, but part of me worries about the weather. Having the option of the 12th in the event its rainy/stormy.

Is anything done with IASW for Christmas time/MVMCP at WDW? (DL vet here just finding out there is no Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at WDW so I'm a little sad.) I'm guessing the answer is no as I can't seem to find info on it but thought I'd ask here just in case. Maybe at least some Christmassy projections on the outside at night?

No, nothing at WDW except that the Jungle Cruise coverts to the Jingle Cruise.

Has anyone done 2 parties in one trip? We're going the week of November 17th and have tickets for the Tuesday night party already and I'm thinking about adding the Thursday night party. We are only there Monday-Friday and we weren't able to get FPs for A&E or 7DMT. Thoughts on using a 2nd party to get rides done?

We have been doing 2 parties the last 3 years. Last year I wasn't going to and then did it last minute anyway. This year I just put it that way in my plans from the get go.

We did 2 Halloween parties last year and it was great decision. One night we focused in characters, the other on shows, parade, fireworks. It worked out great!!

I am glad to know we'll be in such good company! We will be there too! (I'm sure we'll be the group looking hopelessly lost!)
You won't be the only ones super lost! This is my first party of any kind at WDW and i know no amount of planning will prepare us. haha

I'm going to my first MVMCP this year, so don't take this for gospel, but I think the snow will last for quite some time or at least be intermittent. When we went for NYE this past year, we left VERY late at night when the park closed and it was still snowing on Main Street! I first experienced the snow at DL, so to see it again at MK was awesome - despite that I get tired of snow very easily because I'm from the Northeast and we get a LOT!!

Well, I hope that's the case. Thanks very much!

Ok well I wanna read yours when you come back!

You'll most likely get your wish! It will be a pretty diverse trip report, will start with the last MNSSHP and resort character hunting on Halloween, then it will involve the wine and dine half, then finally end with the Christmas party! Of which I plan on having the very merriest of times.

Hi! Couple questions.

What time should I plan on lining up to see the 7 Dwarfs? I have a FP+ for ETWB 5:30-6:30 but I am wondering if even if I got at 5:30 if I will be done in time to still get in line and see them pretty close to when they come out at 7.

My other question is I got a BOG reservation at 7:40 on our party night and I am so so torn. We've all always wanted to eat there, but I am afraid I won't get out in time to be able to see wishes at 9:30. Any advice? I can't decide.

Has anyone successfully transferred their tickets to another night before? We originally planned on attending on the 6th but now need to attend on the 4th but I already bought tickets for the 6th, will they let me transfer them to the 4th? If it's more $$ I would happily pay the difference.
