***The official September, 2016 Thread !!!***

September 1-10 here! Mother-daughter trip! So excited! Art of Animation - Little Mermaid.
:welcome:hsmamainva!!!! It sounds like a good time !!! Have you planned out your meals yet? I've started thinking about where I'd like to go...

I can't wait to get down to planning which parks I want to visit on which day. We will attend two days at MK, EP, and DS and one day at AK.

We like Tappen Edo and Coral Reef at Epcot. Mama Melrose at DS. Liberty Tree at MK.

So what are some of your favorite places to eat when you visit the world?

We are going 9/24-10/3 to celebrate my dh 31 st bday with a group of friends. Staying off site. But they said i could plan as much as I want! Yayayyaya

:welcome: ckrisie !!! Glad you are a part of the group. How far from the parks are you staying? Gotta love being able to plan, plan, plan ! I love planning the trip even more than going ! I think I should be a Disney travel agent :)

We are staying a dreamvillas. So not too far. Just happy to be going back home.

We will be going next September for Food and Wine 2016. No resort booked yet but we are planning on the Yacht Club!

On my way to work. I am not driving. But I am dreaming of our trip. I think we will book Allstar music and the dining plan. If they offer free dining we can make the needed changes. However I know we would have a charge because I do NOT want the quick services. I also saw that this year you must have park hopper passes. It may not save me much money as we don't want to hop. Well I guess I will sign off for today.

Skippyman I would love to be a Travel Agent for Disney too!!! I help my work friends plan theirs. If anyone is going to Disney everyone says go talk to Jamie. LOL.

Grandma4ever we also love Coral Reef and had a delicious dinner there last September. Great Memories.....

Favorites are:
Ohanas. The open fire grilled Shrimp, noodle, coconut bread, wings, and Polynesian Bread Pudding. Yummm

Crystal Palace Breakfast. The Breakfast Casserole and Pooh French Toast. 8 am reservation and got excellent pictures in front of the Castle with no one around.

Be Our Guest Dinner. The New York Strip and a nice bottle of wine was an excellent meal. It was enchanting eating in Beast's Castle. Beautiful rooms.

Would love to try the new Skipper's Canteen next September!!

Snacks: Dole Whip, Cream Cheese Pretzel, the sweet glazed pecans, School Bread at the Bakery in Norway.

Sure am missing Disney right now!

:welcome:Vettegirl !!! Glad you joined the group. I've never stayed at Yacht club. Is this your first time or have you stayed there before?

Yep - I love helping people plan their trips. Plus, travel agents get really good deals on vacations. I absolutely love the school bread in Norway. I am missing Disney like crazy too !!!

Planning a 10 day trip next year to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. While we were in the initial planning stages I figured, it's my dad's birthday too, so he might as well tag along! :woohoo:

I'm hoping to rent DVC so we can stay in a Poly studio. The only times we've stayed onsite previously have been All-Stars...while those are nice for trips with my nephews, we'd all love a chance to stay at a monorail resort. If we can't get that, we might end up staying offsite.

I'm planning on doing some activities that none of us have ever done before - resort dining, resort touring, and a generally more laid-back trip...well, except for those two nights at MNSSHP! Can't wait to get started actually booking things.

:welcome:Vettegirl !!! Glad you joined the group. I've never stayed at Yacht club. Is this your first time or have you stayed there before?

Glad to be here! We have stayed at the BC before, this will be the first time at the YC. Hoping to book a CL room, maybe they will be renovated by then.

Here is a small bumb to help keep us easy to find. In the past I have created a roll call post. It would consist of user name, resort, and Dates of stay. This can be used to plan a few mini meets if you would like. I can add any additional information you might like. Let me know if you would not want to be included.

Great idea ! Let's do that...

Sounds awesome ! I've never stayed at either one. I'd like to one of these days, but my next stay is at AKL Savannah view. I've never done that either.

:welcome:PSUTraveler !!! Glad you joined us. I've stayed at All Stars and POP and have to say that they have paper thin walls. Not that great for light sleepers like myself and the wife. Poly is awesome although I've never stayed in the studio. I'm renting DVC points as well for my stay at AKL.

I would also like to join this thread and was so glad to see it!! We went last September of 2014 and stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and are planning arriving September 9th, 2016 and leaving September 17th for 8 nights. I do not think I will book until (hopefully) Free Dinning comes out. It does seem like a long time away but soon it will be less than a year away. I have thought about opening a Disney Vacation Account through Disney and wondered if anyone had done so? Just so I could start paying on my trip. So excited to see others are planning their trips!!
Hi, You can book and then add the free dining when it's available. I did this my last trip in 2013 with no problems except that I was booked at ASMu and had to move to ASMo to qualify. :)

Hello! I'd like to join too as I just booked for next Sept. 25 - Oct. 2! I'm booked at All Star Sports and hope that they offer the free dining then too. I used it the last time we were there and it saved us a ton of money! Also looking forward to the Food and Wine Festival! The only thing that makes me really nervous is the FP+ system since the last time I went it was still legacy FP. Not liking what I hear about it, but it sure looks like there will be some new attractions and shows by then! So excited! :)

Following is the information about our little group that I pulled from the thread. Please let me know if you want to be removed from the list or if I have any info incorrect. I will do my best to keep the list updated at least weekly until I need to focus on really packing.
