Chic Rooms are located near the pool area, and feature a private balcony or terrace. In addition to a king or two queen bed configurations, there are 20 Chic Family Rooms featuring a king Blissful Bed® and bunk beds. Make sure you request a Chic Family Room at time of booking since availability is limited. Chic rooms sleep up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children in the Family Room configuration.
All rooms have B Resort signature Blissful Beds® and designer furnishings in black and white, a desk, mini beverage cooler, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, and Aveda bath amenities. Every room includes FreeB Wi-Fiand interactive Smart 47″ LCD TVs, and gaming consoles are available upon request. The bathrooms are exceptionally nice, with beautiful tilework and spacious showers with rain shower heads in most rooms.
When you enter your room, you’ll find a cute plush tree frog sprawled on your bed. His name is “Benson B Frog,” and he’s the mascot of the “B Humane” program, which focuses on wildlife conservation and protection. You can buy one of your own; part of the proceeds benefit the Wildlife Foundation of Florida. Special note for parents: if you know your child is likely to get “attached” to Benson and you’d prefer to avoid that, you might want to slip into the room first and tuck him out of sight.
Breakfast at American Q also has both a-la-carte options and the all-you-can-eat flatbed buffet. There are several menu items for BBQ lovers, like a meat-filled omelet with brisket, pulled pork and smoked turkey, but there are more conventional breakfast items for people who just want some eggs and toast, or Mickey waffles. The buffet is extensive and high-quality, with a wide variety of hot and cold food.
Next to the restaurant is the American Q Bar and Lounge, serving unique and innovative cocktails in a stylish atmosphere. A poolside bar and grill serves light meals and drinks. In-room dining is also available.
For lighter fare, The Pickup features a full coffee bar with pastries, croissants, muffins and doughnuts as well as a full-service ice cream shop with dipped cones and banana splits alongside a selection of chips, sweets and snacks. In addition to commonly-available beverage brands, The Pickup carries an array of unusual non-alcoholic beverages such as bottled black coffee, old-fashioned Dad’s Root Beer and more. The Pickup also has a small selection of sundries and merchandise.
The central courtyard of this resort features a brand new zero-entry pool with water fountains. The surrounding pool deck has numerous deck chairs and umbrellas, as well as several lounge areas with comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing or socializing with family and friends.
Walk to DTD is about 15min give or take. Not bad at all!
