Hi,

If you only got to pick one appitizer, one soup or sald, one entree, and one dessert to eat at every dinner on a cruise what would you pick? You can pick things that show up on different menus. You can only pick one thing per category. For me it would be the crispy ravioli on the Golden Mickey Menu. The soup I would pick is the wild mushroom soup on the capain gala menu. The entree I would pick would be the duck from Triton's. Lastly, I would pick the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert!

Yeah, finally a fun post after all the negative ones lately!
App - truffle pursettes
soup - wild mushroom
entree - the beef dish from Palo's (forgot what it is called, sorry!)
dessert - creme bruelee cheesecake (has not been on our recent cruises, but is still my all time favorite dessert!):cloud9:

Hard question.

Not counting Palo:
App - pasta pursettes
Salad - wedge
Entrée - one of the steaks - probably the beef tenderloin
Dessert - Grand Marnier soufflé (this one was easy)

App - Fried Brie (Royal Court/Lumieres)
Soup/Salad - Creamy Butternut Squash Soup (Animators)
Entree - Oregano and Parmesan Crusted Rack of Lamb substitute in mushroom risotto (Palo)
Dessert - Chocolate Soufflé (Palo)

Hmmm....
Appetizer: Golden Mickeys - Spiced Asparagus and Citrus Delight

Soup: Animator's - Butternut Squash

Entree: Parrot Cay - Island Spiced Rib Eye of Beef

Dessert: I always get two desserts Triton's - Grand Marnier Souffle

and Captain's Gala - Warm Chocolate Lava Cake

I can't remember the names and I don't eat dairy.....

App - some sort of pineapple thing (pirate night?)
Soup/Salad - Arugula w/ figs
Entree - nothing apparently because I can't remember a single thing I ate for dinner
Dessert - chocolate lava cake w/ rice dream

It's kind of pathetic, but one of the best things I had on the Fantasy was the vegan "butter" in Remy. I tried to get it in the MDR, but my serving team was useless. We had to get the head waiter involved because they refused to bring regular butter for my kids to use because of my dairy allergy noted on our reservation.

Glad someone found something fun to talk about that won't result in being accused of being a Disney shill.

App: pursettes in AP
Entree: sea bass in EG
Dessert: grand marinier soufflé in RP

App - Fried Brie (Royal Court/Lumieres)

I'm so excited to try this. We haven't sailed the Magic since before they changed the menu and this sounds so good (it's the little things, you know?)!

I thought the salmon tartare was wonderful; the scallops at Enchanted Garden were delightful and the Esterhazy torte was as good as any I've had in Austria. Really, I've enjoyed all our meals on our cruises....:smickey:...I just need to watch what I eat the six weeks before we leave!

None.

If I had to eat the same meal of Disney cruise food for 5-7 nights straight, I'd never cruise with them again.

I like most of the fish dishes but I am glad that there is a variety. I can't think of anything on DCL that I'd want to eat night after night.

Appetizer - Colette Cocktail (Remy) No one said you couldn't drink your appetizer :drinking:
Soup - Wild Mushroom (MDR)
Entree - Wagyu Beef (Remy)
Dessert - Chocolate Souffle (Palo) tied with Grand Marnier Souffle (MDR)
** Honorable Mention - Cheese Trolley (Remy)

That is annoying as my husband has several allergies but I don't want to adjust my diet to his allergies!

Edited to add that this is fun to read and I am making notes of fan favorites so I can try them when I finally get on my first cruise!

Appetizer: Black truffle pasta purseittes (Animator's Palate)
Soup: Potato and leek soup (Royal Palace)
Entre: Maybe filet steak, not a stand out but best of my most recent entrees (Royal Palace)
Dessert: They were all pretty tasty. I don't care much as long as it is yummy!
