How long have you been a DVC member?

Our favorite resort is BCV. Over 8 trips we've spent 60-70 nights at BCV.

January 1992...it has just been opened a few weeks. We were staying in the Treehouse Villas, and the bus kept stopping at the "Disney Vacation Club". Intrigued, we signed up for the presentation, and several contacts later, here we are.

Bought 100 points at AKV resale in late 2012, bought another 160 points at AKV this year.

We bought OKW in 1996. We did it all "wrong" in that we financed our purchase. But it was paid off in less than five years, and we just shifted the money we were already spending at Disney to pay off our DVC. Looking at how DVC costs are skyrocketing, it was the right decision for us to finance.

12 years since we first bought, 2 years since our last acquisition. We've added on more than 15 times! Have not ever sold.

We started thinking about it in 2007. I would have purchased then but hubby wasn't convinced. We rented points for two trips and finally purchased 250 at BCV in 2012 via resale. Now I have really bad addonitis. I want another contract. 250 is just not enough. Saving my cash so I can purchase at AKV eventually.

We signed on the dotted line on Sept 21, 2001. In the wake of 9/11, we realized every minute of family time is precious so we bought into our yearly vacation plan.
First trip as members was Aug, 2002 and we are currently at more trips than I can count, and are heading home again next weekend.

Ten years for us. Purchased SSR in 2005 aboard the Disney Magic. Purchased AKL in 2014 aboard the Disney Dream. We obviously need to stay off the cruise ships!

In 2009...I had been researching a little and thought DH would settle on SSR due to pricing....but he thought about it and realized AKL was available and said "No!!!! we HAVE to have AKL!!!" Who was I to argue....
