Disney Gift Card Deals

Has anyone tried calculating what savings would be to buy Target gift cards from Cardpool or Raise, then buy Ebay from Target, then the Sears special deal on Ebay, then Target cards from Sears, then Disney cards from Target? I tried to figure it out, but I confused myself!!! . The Sears $100 card is selling for $85 plus free shipping. Just curious.

Reference my above question, if someone smarter than me can verify if I am figuring this correctly. If I buy $100 of Target at Cardpool I save 6% plus 1% from Disney Visa ($6.94 savings). Then I buy $100 Ebay cards from Target for $85 plus my .7% from Raise ($15.60). Then I buy a $100 Sears card from Ebay for $85 ($15.00 savings). Then I buy $100 Target gift card with my Sears card (I think that is another $15 savings, correct???). Then I buy Disney GC from Target with 5% Redcard ($5.00 savings).

So, if I have done this correctly, that would save me $42.54 on an initial $100. Is that correct???

After entering the ebay GC into the "Redemption code" box on ebay, has anyone ever gotten a message stating, "This coupon is not yet ready for use. Please try again later" ????

I am not up to checking your math, but I am not entirely sure you can buy gift cards with a gift card at Sears. Many places don't allow this. So if you're not entirely sure that you can, I would worry about getting stuck with a lot of Sears gift cards.

I haven't heard if the Sears GCs can consistently be used to buy other GCs. But if they can then this would be great because Sears GCs are cheap.

Yeah. I'm getting that now. Some ppl above said it takes a few hours for them to be "ready" on EBay.

Mine took almost four hours. Because of this I missed out on the special ($95 for $100 gift card and free shipping) by about an hour

For those of you who have a Shop Rite near you, they are offering a $10 OYNO Catalina wyb $50 eBay GC starting 8/23-9/5. That's a 20% savings if you are a ShopRite shopper and the Catalina can be used for pretty much anything other than tobacco, alcohol or gift card purchases (I'm thinking milk, fruit, vegetables or meat, which rarely have coupons). Use the eBay GC to buy a Target GC and then buy your Disney GC from Target .com with the REDCard discount once you get your Target GC. Right now, I'm not sure if there is a limit as to the number of Catalinas you can get or if they can be stacked so that you can use them for a single order.

In light of this working for plenty of ppl above, decided to try again w a small amount to test the waters (since it is the best savings anyone has come up with)... 6 x $50 EBay from Target.

This time the first hold-up was waiting for EBay codes to activate, but as others have said the wait time there is variable. Wasn't a problem as they activated a little over an hour later.

Then the 2nd gotcha, and a much bigger problem -- again it denied my primary Paypal account! This is the account that worked fine on 8/17 to buy $300, then again on 8/18 to buy $200 (but would not do $300). Then I had to switch to Paypal account B, to run $200, $200, and $200 more. I ran this $300 thru on the first Paypal acct and it would not process (it would if I'd pay cash, but it would not reflect the discount at pay time)... but on my other Paypal acct which I just used yesterday to buy $200x3, I was able to run this new $300.

It's not making sense to me what is causing these to go thru or not.

ShopRite has a loyalty card called the Price Plus card. I saw this deal listed in the preview deals for SR on a couponing blog that I follow. They had actual scans of the ad for 8/23-8/29 and it states that the offer will run through 9/5. The Catalinas will be valid for 2 weeks following the day that they are earned. IOW, you would not be able to use it the same day that you earned it and it will expire 2 weeks later.

I made 3 orders of target gift cards from cardpool the day before yesterday but they are still processing for more than 45hrs. These are not my first few orders and usually all orders were delivered within an hour, I emailed to customer service but no response yet, is anyone having the same problem? Or has anyone ever met this before? Thank you.

Did you place the orders on the week end? I placed 2 $100 orders on a Friday and got the cards within an hour of order. Then I placed a large order on Saturday and didn't get my order until Monday night. Seems like they take that "up to one business day" serious. Also when I got my order they had adjusted the dollar amount bought - I guess they had sold those gc while my order was processing?

I did call and leave a message, and they returned my call that afternoon.

You can buy gift cards with gift cards at Sears, but I've never seen Target or Disney cards at Sears.

Sears and kmart have disney gift cards, but many people have not been allowed to use the sears gift cards to buy the disney gift cards at their store. Page 102 on this thread, there are several posts about it. There was a staples or office max deal, can't remember which store for sears gift cards and some people where successful and others were denied.

I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with their Target orders not shipping in a timely manner?

I placed 4 orders for Disney GC's through Target. Three of them have shipped but one has just been sitting with the "order created" status instead of "Shipped" for about 36 hours now. Does anyone know if I should call Target, or is this normal?

***. Cardpool just cancelled my $1,500 order for no reason, citing something about being unable to verify information -- however, they never contacted me to verify anything.

I've resubmitted my order, but does anyone know how to avoid this?

I know that my bank card and credit card have a purchase limit (one is $500 and one is $1000) and I have to call and let them know I'm placing an large order. I did this before I placed my large cardpool order and didn't have an issue.

I am a huge Shoprite shopper... one is less than a mile away and I'm there several x per wk. Where can I find more info on this.
