Heading to the October 1st party! We are traveling as part of a big group, there are 20 of us in all 12 adults and 8 kiddos. Each family is taking on a different Disney movie.

We'll have:
Tangled (my family! My daughter (3) will be Rapunzel, my husband will be Flynn Rider and I will be Mother Gothel)
Beauty and the Beast (Provincial Belle, Lumiere, and the French Duster)
Cinderella (Gus Gus, Cinderella, and Prince Charming)
The Little Mermaid (Ariel, Ursula, King Triton, and Sebastian)
101 Dalmatians (Cruella, Jasper, Dalmatian)
Frozen (Elsa, Anna, Sven, Olaf)

So excited!

I will try to do it right this time (left out info before- sorry!)

October 18. - 2 adults cosplay

Me- Joy or Goofy
Sister- sadness

Just a big thank you to
Snitch for all the wonderful info on the threads. I'm learning a great deal and I appreciate all your hard work!

I forgot to mention that on Oct 4th before the HP we have ADR at Tony's Town Square @5:40pm. This will be our first time at a party and our 2.5 year old's first Disney trip. Hope she can hang with her parents.

4 of us on October 18th, I'm going as Emma Swan from Once Upon A Time, my niece is going as Evie from The Descendants, my nephew we don't know yet and my sister just Halloween shirt, and we bought our tickets today too for the Happy HallowWishes Dessert party

The crowds will be nowhere near Christmas crazy. They only sell about 1/4-1/3 of MK capacity for the parties. :) Most rides are walk ons, but the mountains, mine train and HM will have some waits, with mine train being the longest, likely 45 minutes or less.

THANK YOU!!! ou make me feel much better :) This trip is already looking great, I got dinner reservations at BOG last night for 10/31. It's a miracle, so excited!!!

Update on our costumes -

1A - witch, 2A,1C - steampunk/gothic vampires, 1A - still unknown

I also snagged a BOG ressie for 7:10pm, but I'm not certain we should use party time for it, even tho it was the only BOG dinner ressie I could get!

October 13! Yay! I can't wait.

2 adults, 2 children (boys 14 and 9)
The boys are going as Maverick, Goose and Iceman from Top Gun (I think)
I feel kind of weird being the odd mismatched costume, but I am thinking Cinderella for me. We will see.
No ADR and the Dessert Party is tempting me, but not 100% yet.

List is current! Please check your line(s) for accuracy. I am missing info from several of you, including but not limited to...

@Beast2Prince- is anyone besides your daughter dressing up?

@chrisc88- How many kids and adults, and who is wearing which costume?

@sms2015- Do I have the correct number of people listed? If so, are the others dressing up? Also, what time is your ADR?

@maryandtyson- How many kids and adults?

@Bricket- What time is your ADR?

@knitngurl- What date are you attending the party?

@njmomof1 - Will either of you be dressing up?

@BigMommaMouse- How many kids and adults in your party?

My son is going as Paul George from the Indiana Pacers. My DW and I are still deciding.

We will be going October 15th and October 18th
1A 2C and my Friend (1A and 1C)
I'm making all of our costumes. We booked last August and I started working my DD costume then. I just finished it last week. All of our costumes will be "Electrical Light Parade" Inspired. Here's Video of my daughter in her costume:
I'm Currently work on my Son's Costume (Prince Adam or The beast as a human) I'll be Sleeping Beauty. My friend's daughter is Cinderella, and My friend is Alice.
I'm So EXCITED
This will be our 2nd trip down during Halloween.

WDWMAW- are you from KY? We are too!!

I LOVE this! How are you controlling the lights? What sort of power source did you have to use?

Not the best quality picture, but I think I've got the process down for making the wings!

I have 2 lilypad main board microcontroller to control the random white twinkling lights and a 2560 audrino microcontroller for the red swirling lights. I ordered lg replacement tablet batteries from China. I took (2) 3.7v 12000mAh Lipo batteries to make into a rechargeable battery pack. I connected it to an adafruit 5v power booster and the whole dress is ran on one circuit off these batteries. Cool fairy wings! Did you use sparkle fiber optic cable?

Nice! I have an animatronic book from Hocus Pocus I'm running off of an Arduino uno and a 2400(I think?) mAh lipo battery. I was wondering what size battery you would need for that many leds!

I went a more simplistic route for the fiber optic wings - I'm using the guts from the made with magic bows with the sparkle fiber optics. From the testing I've done, they shouldn't have a problem picking up the RF signals through fabric so they'll sync to the fireworks.

I love hocus pocus! I probably went a little over kill on the battery but I wanted to make sure the dress could run all night at the party without needing a recharge! lol
syncing with the fireworks VERY COOL!

I'm so excited to be going to my first party! I'm going Sunday, September 27th. I haven't decided what I want to be yet but let you know as soon as I do!

**EDIT I'm going to be Yzma! Now, how do I get all those feathers to Orlando?!? :-)

Y'all are talking a foreign language to me, but your costumes are gonna be epic. :rotfl2:

Book's battery died last year while we were at the party. It was very sad. I'm adding a sleep function this year to help with battery life (it's remote triggered). I've never thought of using laptop batteries though!
