~~ They're leaving the nest, sew it's time for a trip - or two - or three...~~ D~'s bag ~9/22 ~~

Oh and I forgot to do a car update...

It's my front passenger wheel bearing that went out. Every time I bring it in - I just plan for it to cost $1000... So, in my head, I was thinking 1K...

Imagine my shock when it was *only* $350! :woohoo: Praise God! We never get that lucky when it comes to car repairs.

I should have it back by Monday - which is good timing, because i have to give Josh's Dad's car back to him on Tuesday... ::yes::

Ok - back to your regularily scheduled PTR. :thumbsup2

D~

Glad your car repair wasn't that much.
Mo's resort pictures had me laughing.
Sorry to hear about the problems where Alli was working. Hopefully she gets hired at the new place. I can't believe Gus and her have been together that long.
Your hot weather is on its way here just in time for the first day of school on monday.
I have nothing planned this weekend except work today. I still don't about tomorrow. It depends on how hot it gets.
Have a good weekend .

Jumping over from my thread. 49 pages??? I have some catching up to do! Glad to be here!!!

Hi Liz! Yes, me too!

I know - I am so glad it's Suzi doing my planning and not Mo... Hehehe... She'd give me a blankie and park me on a couch in the lobby. :scratchin

I hope so too - she has an interview on Monday - so hopefully it goes well for her.

Yup... It was so HOT here yesterday, they said that today is still supposed to be hot, but not as bad.

I hope you have a nice weekend! :)

Hi! Welcome! Meh- don't worry about the 49 pages... I keep my first few posts up to date, so as long as you've read those, you are good. :thumbsup2 I am very happy to have you here! Thanks for following along. ::yes::

Alrighty...

So, yesterday, I decided to go take a walk... We have a trail system around here, and it's just always "been there"... So, I drove to the trail head and parked... To my surprise, I'd found a hidden gem. It's an old railroad trail, so it's relatively flat... and beautiful... You can see for miles and the trees have grown over and around it. This is so exciting for me, because it's only a 5 minute drive from my house... It runs for 19.7 miles - so, if I ever have the desire to train for a marathon - it can easily be done on this trail. Not saying I am training for a marathon, yet, but I wouldn't put it past myself - at some point. The only down side to this trail, is that it isn't maintained during the winter - it's used for cross country skiing... So, it's "open" for use - but it would be a lot of trudging through snow. But to have it to use for 3 seasons out of the year... Well, I am pretty excited about it. :woohoo:

2015-08-15_12.29.49.jpg

Then, yesterday afternoon - I took V back in to urgent care for her neck... It was getting better, but then yesterday it got bad again. Sigh. Thankfully it was my Dr. working in urgent care yesterday - so she took good care of V... Not only was the rash something that needed to be treated with antibiotics, but it also had some fungal properties to it, which is why the antibiotics were only getting rid of part of it. So, my Dr. put her on a different cream... She said, because of the fungal properties in the rash - it will take a good 2-3 weeks for it to completely go away. So, glad we went back in. Hopefully there is a nice improvement before school starts again. ::yes::

Allison worked last night... Josh went to the fair for a little while to work the Pheasants Forever booth - he said it was really dead at the fair (I'd guess because it was so hot out yesterday?)...

We had salads for dinner - they were very good!

Then we were lazy all night.

I never did make it up to my sewing room yesterday...

Which means today...

I am planning to go for my "long run" on the - new to me - trail. The term "long run" is relative... LOL I am hoping to hit the 3 mile mark today. :scratchin I still plan to do my regular runs during the week on the road by my house - for the time being - because I still want to incorporate the hill work into my runs... From everything I've read, hills are really good for increasing speed (I honestly cannot get much slower...) and endurance. So, I will keep the hills... Besides - I kind of like them. :thumbsup2

Then I have to work in my sewing room for a while today - even if it's only for an hour or two... I need to finish up the one project and make a dent in finishing up the other. Otherwise, it will be a much crazier week for me than normal... And I don't need that. LOL

I took a couple of pictures of Sooper Cooper last night... He is getting so big! He's a turd, for sure... He is not very nice to MM - to be honest... I wish MM would stand up for himself, but he's just too nice of a guy. :scratchin Sorry the pictures aren't very focused - I had to zoom in really far to get Josh's feet out of the picture. LOL

Disney update... I know this won't mean much to you guys - but it's super important to me, so it bears mentioning.

I've finally found a pair of white capris in my size in my favorite brand! :woohoo:

Why is this important? And how does it relate to Disney? Well... Think about it... My Donald outfit/outfits. :woohoo: I cannot go to Disney with out those.

Now, I just have to get a couple of other small items... I have a list somewhere. :scratchin I am also hoping to make myself a new bag or two for this trip - but don't be disappointed if I don't... I've honestly been working really hard in my sewing room just to pay for these trips, and I'll be very lucky if I have the time/ambition to make anything for myself. I know - that's pretty sad. But I do have the girls' bags I can use, if necessary... And all of my bags are available for using too - so it's not like I will be going nekkid. Thank God. ::yes::

OK - I better get moving for the day... I need to finish my coffee soon so it doesn't interfere with my run later. ::yes::

I am SO far behind! Very excited for your upcoming Disney plans! I will have to catch up when the kids go back to school and it is just me and the babe home until January! Three kids is- oyyyy! A special kind of magic!

I keep going back and forth with doing a MVMCP right after Thanksgiving since it will be the only time before retirement that I will be able to travel non summer and non peak. But then I remember I'll have a 4 month old. And we are supposed to do DCL in August and oh yea I won't be working for 4 months of the year. So hard to make the financial commitment even though I'm sure we wouldn't regret it.

So I just stumbled onto your PTR and TRs today and have spent all day reading them!! Couple of comments.....
*your family is so sweet and you can tell you really enjoy spending time together
*my kids are close in age too, and as of two weeks from now, my hubby and I will be empty-nesters!
*we have a November trip planned as well
*we did the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace seminar through our church and we use the envelope method (most of the time!)
*I am a new "runner" as well...... I haven't really worked up to believing myself to be called a runner. I am using the Galloway interval method and I run three times a week. Like you, it's something I didn't think I would ever do and I am surprised that I actually enjoy it.
*I love your bags and need to know how to go about ordering one for my November trip!!!
*your dogs are adorable!
Looking forward to reading more about your trips!

Awwww... LOL Ii am sure you get some confused looks - but I get it. ::yes:: I am very proud of you! You make a spectacular product! I hope one day to own something from you... I just don't know what yet. :scratchin

Hahaha... Well, it will be 2017 at the earliest, because the 2016 is full and closed. ::yes:: I figure, that's about the right amount of time - if I start training now? LOL I am half-serious.

It is so scary how fast it goes... I feel like it's just been the blink of an eye. I hope so - I hope they've learned something from it, I truly do... but we will see.

It is very scary when they first start dating... Trust me. I look back and chuckle a little bit... Not only was Gus Allison's first boyfriend - but he was the first boyfriend ever... So, over protective parents is saying it mildly. The first 6 months that he knew her, they were chapperoned every where they went (because, remember they dated for a couple of months earlier on)... but once they shifted to a friendship, we loosened up a bit after we got to know him better. It took him a LONG time to earn our trust... So, I look back on that and laugh a little now n' then... Little did we know, when we first met him, that he would become so much a part of our family and our life. He's a good kid, and if things work out between them, great. If not - it's OK too.

Believe me - I know - darn cars. Josh can fix anything in our home/yard/life... but if it's anything other than basic stuff on cars - well, sometimes it's just easier to have a mechanic do it. OUr cars know this and take advantage - I think. ::yes:: Sorry about November - but Jan will be great too, I am just bummed that we miss you. Are you in the Jan planning group on FB?

I am sure he is! How old is he now? Almost 3? I am trying to think back and I just cannot remember.
They have come a long way. Have you tracked where you have shipped all your bags to? I want to see if we can get to all 50 states and maybe keep a little map in my office, you're probably global by now though. :)

You should! 2017 marathon, we always go during marathon weekend, it's a fun time to visit.

They will, especially when they have kids.

It's wonderful her first boyfriend is so respectful towards her and her family. If it works out or not, it sounds like he has set a precedence for any other boyfriend she may have, which is great.

I always try to find these planning groups but I must not know the proper search terms. I am awful at facebook. And now I'm being told all the time I need an instagram. I really like going in January, and it will be more relaxing to go after the holidays. Although there will be no Christmas Party and no D~! Drew was really looking forward to meeting you.

He is almost 2 1/2. No more "free" trips for him after this January. It was good while it lasted.

Oh brother, my heart goes out to those girls at Starbucks. Although I'm sure Alli will miss the discount, I'm sure she won't miss the stress.

So happy to read your car was less than anticipated. Send some of that car pixie dust my way! :p

Hi Ann!!! I've been enjoying all of your baby photos on FB... So precious!!! Congratulations!

I know - it's such a huge financial commitment... but I just don't know when I will ever get there again during the holidays, since it's taken me this long to get there in the first place. It's definitely on my must-do priority list. ::yes:: But I totally understand, it's getting soooo expensive to go to Disney these days - at some point, things start going out the window. At least I haven't gone back to packing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for in the park... LOL I am sure it's coming though - V might have a few surprises for her trip. :scratchin

Welcome!!! I am super happy to have you here! Thanks for taking the time to read my TRs/PTRS... There's lots of them, and they are pretty long - so I totally commend you! :thumbsup2 I am not sure I could ever go back to read them? LOL

Thank you - I love spending time with my family and my girls - especially in WDW, we always mangage to have fun - even if some of us are cranky. ::yes::

Oh wow!!! How are you dealing with that? I am so nervous for it. I am watching many of my friends moving their kids into college on FB, and I am already crying... I still have another year. I just cannot imagine my life with out my girls here - it won't be the same, for sure.

Oooh - I wonder if our dates in Nov overlap? :scratchin

Yes, the envelope method is amazing - so is the whole DR program. I am probably not as gizelle intense as I should be... but we have a savings and we are paying things off... Even this darn car repair - which would have thrown us for a loop previously - is just something we are able to cash flow (thankfully I was smart enough to start a sinking fund for car repairs...) and no stress about it at all. It will take us years, probably, to be debt free - but at least we are taking steps to get to that place. ::yes:: I hope you are very successful with the program, as well. Best of luck to you!

Oooh - excellent - a new runner! Just like me! I didn't want to call myself a runner either, but I have many runner friends who insist being a "runner' has nothing to do with how much you run - it has to do with your heart and determination... And if you are doing the Galloway program, I feel you've earned the right to call yourself a runner too. Since I was kind of just running on my own and taking it easy, I've decided I want to do a 5k sometime mid-sept and then there's an 8k run on Thanksgiving Day morning that I'd like to do.... So, with out knowing it - I did the first week of Galloway's 10k program last week - so, I think I am going to continue on with that for now... Maybe going a little slower than what he has written out? Because my goal is an 8k, I think I can go a bit slower? I'll still finish and do the 10k, I am just going to stretch it out for a few extra weeks. :thumbsup2 I wish you the best of luck with your running - and yes, you ARE a runner! ::yes::

I am sorry, but I am not allowed to talk about my business at all on The Dis, it's considered soliciting and I could get banned. I hope you understand. But thank you for liking them - that means the world to me!

Thanks! I love our puppies... They are such babies. LOL And I get a lot of enjoyment out of the fact that Cooper thinks I am alpha dog... LOL Finally - I get the respect I deserve. ::yes::

Thanks so much for stopping by and introducing yourself... Send me a PM with your Nov dates... I'd love to know if we overlap. :thumbsup2

I have not kept track of where I've shipped them to... At one point, when I first started - I wanted to, but I just never did. I am pretty sure I am in most of the states now (admitedly, most of my bags ship to the southern and eastern states)... I also have bags in Europe and Canada. ::yes:: It's so funny, because when I send them out - it's like saying good-bye to a friend... Weird, I know - but I think you understand. Knowing I'll probably never see that friend again... So, it thrills me beyond belief when I see one in the parks or someone sends me a picture... Knowing there's almost always a part of my hard work and me in Disney - it's pretty cool. I am still shocked - to this day - that people like my items... Every time I post a picture - I wait with dread that people won't like it.

I am truly pumping myself up for it - I really want to. I am hoping there are still a few medals running around the parks while I am there with Allison... I never realized how much of a dream this was for me, until I started doing it. I'd forgotten how much I really wanted it to be a part of my life, earlier in my life, and how disappointed I was that my body just couldn't do it. I firmly believe that's what has made me love it so much now. I am hoping that one day I can work up to running through the castle... I also hope that one day, they bring back the ToT challenge and the AK race.... I would LOVE to run through AK!

Yes - I am so relieved that she found a good guy in Gus. It's so hard when they start dating, you just pray that who ever they date is respectful towards them and towards their family... We are very lucky that Gus is both. :thumbsup2

I can send you the link for the Jan planning group on FB, if you'd like?

So sad we only miss eachother by a matter of days... But one day we will meet - I am sure of it. That's awesome that Drew wanted to meet me too. :thumbsup2 I'd love to meet all of you. I am hoping to have one more year of an AP - so I can do the 2017 races in WDW... So, hopefully that means a few trips for me. ::yes::

2.5... OH WOW!!!! I thought he was for sure 2... Cannot believe he is going to be 3 already! I remember when you were pregnant with him. :lovestruc They grow way too fast!

Sending you all the Pixie Dust I can for cars and trips!!! THanks for checking in Ashley - I've missed you!

*****************************************************************************************

Hehehe.... I am such a slacker... I didn't make it to my sewing room at all this weekend - except to stop by and throw some supplies on my ironing board to put away this week. LOL Which means - my week up there will be busy, because I will be working on catching up all week. Oh well - don't let me complain about it - it's my own fault. ::yes::

Buuut - I did go for a run yesterday morning... On my new path... It was glorious! My Garmin says I went 3.75 miles - and I did... But the .75 was my warm up/cool down... I actually RAN for exactly 3 miles - no walking... I really had to push myself that last half mile - but I did it! :woohoo: I was so proud! I have serious dreams of running a Disney half-marathon in 2017!

2015-08-16_10.38.10.jpg

As a side note... There is a house I pass on my new trail run, and there is a giant Mickey in the yard... I wonder if they are a Diser and if I know them? :scratchin So, if you are a MN Diser, you have a giant wooden Mickey in front of your house and you live near a trail - give me a shout out please. :woohoo:

Then I came home, had some breakfast... And did nothing all day. Literally, I laid in my recliner for the remainder of the day... I took a 2 hour nap, and then I played on my tablet (ahem, Pinterest and FB) for the rest of the night. Talk about lazy!

Today... Not complaining - I promise... I plan to work out right away this morning. Josh is home again this week for work - so I have to be out of the office by 7:15am. Sigh.

But at least that will prompt me to get upstairs early. I plan to get as much done as I can before 10 am. Then I have to bring Allison to town for her job interview at noon.

At some point today - I have to clean out Josh's dad's car that I've been driving for the last month, so I can give it back to him tomorrow. I also have to go to the shop and pay for my car repairs, so I can pick it up at some point tonight. It will be such a relief to have my car back... I don't really enjoy driving other's cars - I am always petrified that something will happen.

I also have to run to a different town to get dog food for the boys.

V is going tubing down the river with her Youth Group today, so I have to drop her off there.

I hope to get back up to my sewing room this afternoon - once I am done with all of these errands... Fingers crossed.

I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you! :grouphug:

I think it is awesome that you have taken up running now! I noticed such a change in my body last year from running it felt so great. I hope my body can learn to do that again.

Mo
I'm loving the pictures you found of D's resort. lol

Have a great weekend!

they are right there on the web site for anyone to book! LOL

Oh good Lord... I didn't even think of the pool. I bet it's wonderful?

Just look at that! i bet you cannot wait to dive right in! Ya know they are trying to stay "green" with the environment you can swim with the alge! Only open to your resort!!! can you believe it? your such a lucky gurl!

It's getting so HOT here!

OMG same here!!! blah.. Don't like it at all... i'm ready for the cooler months!
Like November?

I've finally found a pair of white capris in my size in my favorite brand!

YAHOOOOOOOOOO I am so happy for you!
I haven't worn white since the 80's! HA HA HA

That is really nice because there won't be any cars or intersections to worry about. My sister and I trained on an old railroad bed that had been turned into a trail, except that it was made of crushed limestone, which is a little easier to run on. I hope you are able to run that marathon some day. The sense of accomplishment is amazing, like you can do anything now that you've done a marathon - although for me it was a half marathon. :)

You are progressing really fast. It took me a lot longer berfore I could run three minutes non-stop. It must be all that weight training that helped make it easier for you to get up to that distance. Or else you were born to run. :thumbsup2

Hi there. I have read your PTR/TRs before, and love your writing. I joined here nearly three years ago , planning for our kids first trip.

I loved following along, and seeing your girls....I also have two girls, and hope that we are as close as you and your girls are! Your bags are great, and all the fun 'Disney couture' you three have makes me want to travel with you!:flower:

I read the DIS in fits and spurts, and stumbled across this report, and although I haven't read it yet, I just wanted to stop in and tell you how fabulous you look, and how inspiring your health/fitness journey is!

Thanks Ann - I am pretty excited about it. It does feel great - but any body changes I was hoping to see, I am not seeing... Oh-well, I love it and I am having fun with it. I have not had this much fun with anything fitness related in a long time... I cannot wait to see how far I can go! I am sure your body will bounce back, it just needs some time and slow going. :thumbsup2

Hahaha... That is one awesome pool!! I cannot wait to dip my feet in and test the water! ::yes:: And I love that they are trying to stay green - I hope your resort does this as well?

Yah - they came yesterday... They look so small, I sure hope they fit!

No, not the bug, I've been driving their Lexus for the last 5 weeks while they've been traveling... I am a little (ok a lot) jealous because they got to see BMT in the process... but all is good. It sounds like they had a great trip!

There are a few intersections I have to cross at the beginning of the trail, but once I get going - there's not much to worry about... Except speeding bikers and runners that are much faster than I am. ::yes:: But I am so excited to have this trail... Sometimes it's pretty scary running on my road... I had a guy swerve and try to hit me last week... I gave him the finger (which is not something I would normally do) - but he drove by laughing... I also have a few choice name calling names for him, as well. Sigh. People can be so dumb! Now I know what his car looks like, and I'll be sure to hit the ditch next time.

I am shocked at how far I have come in so little time... I am trying to be careful though. I firmly believe that it's my weight lifting and just my overall health that's allowed me to progress the way I have. I've downloaded the training schedule for Jeff Galloway's 10k training... I plan to complete that slowly over the next few months. I hope to run my first 5k race in September and an 8k in November, which I am right on target to do - I think. The hard part though, is that I will need to run a little bit while in WDW, because the 8k I want to do is the week after I get home. :scratchin

Hi there!!! Welcome! Thanks for stopping by to say hi! :lovestruc

How old are your girls? Are they close in age, like mine are? It's been a true blessing to be a mom of 2 girls - I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!

Hahaha... Most of the time, my girls are embarassed to travel with me... Not so much now - they are used to it - but when I first started dressing up for trips. However, I will admit - that first year, my outfits were a bit Over The Top! I look back on some of those pictures, and I wonder what I was thinking? LOL I much prefer my style now, which is more about the accessories than the actual clothes. ::yes::

Thank you - it's taken a lot of time and dedication... but it's been a wonderful journey and one I would do over again in a heartbeat. Along the way - I tried to be as easy on myslef as I could be, and really tried to find things that I enjoyed... Lots of time on Google and Pinterest. ::yes:: But watching myself come out of my shell and enjoy life has really been an amazing experience for me, and not one I ever thought I would have. :D

Again - thanks for stopping by to introduce yourself, I love to get to know the people who are reading a long. :thumbsup2

Eeeep... Yesterday was so crazy and today will not be any better.

I worked out right away yesterday morning, and went straight up to work. I was able to finish *most* of what I needed to get done before I had to get ready for the day.

I took Allison to town for her interview... She thinks it went well... There are a few other people they are interviewing, as well - so we will see. Fingers are crossed for her.

Then we ran over to a different Target store, Allison wanted to see if they had something in stock - they didn't.

We grabbed lunch at Jimmy Johns, just because, by that time, it was nearly 2pm already and we were starving (Chipotle was too far away)...

Then I went and paid the shop for my Edge.

And we came home... I went back to work and I was able to finish everything I needed to finish and also make a dent in this week's custom order.

Josh and I drove out to the shop to get my car... I was so happy to be driving my car again - we've missed eachother. ::yes::

We had dinner - um - hamburgers on the grill, and corn on the cob. It was a good dinner.

Then I finally sat down... LOL and I didn't move for the rest of the night.

Today will be worse...

It's a heavy lifting day for me... I need to be done and in the shower by 7:30am.

I need to leave a little early for work today (I am at Target), so I can stop to get gas and a car wash - my car is FILTHY!

I am off at 3pm... I have to rush home and rush back to have Allison at work by 4pm. I hate it when they do that to us... It's a 25 min trip each way.

Then I have to be up to the airport by 4:30 to pick Josh up from dropping his dad's car off for him.

Everyone is on their own for dinner tonight - I've already warned them... I won't have a spare minute to make dinner tonight and I won't want to.

I have to run tonight. Just 2.2 miles... but a run none-the-less. ::yes::

Then... Finally... I can come home and relax.

Phew, just thinking about it makes me want to go back to bed. LOL

I hope you all have a great day - get some rest for me if you can, I'll need it. :thumbsup2 Prayers and pixie dust go out to all of you! :grouphug:

You continue to inspire me with your running -- you've already come so far from when you first started running! We just got back from our Disney trip late Sunday night and after walking 8+ miles each day of our trip (thank you, FitBit!) without much knee pain (just achy feet), I feel more confident that I can work up to running. I'll be as slow as molasses but that's ok -- it's just the fact that I am going to do it! In the winter we have an elliptical and I've got several different workout videos (yoga, pilates, barre method, ballet workouts) that I can do. I need to commit to doing something physically active every day. I'm not happy with my weight, my fitness level, or how my body works and you're inspiring me. I can do this. I just need to start!

I'm here! You girls crack me up....love the pool. looks like a great time! :rotfl2:

I am slowly catching up around here after my long hiatus.....I have not tackled this report so far.....but I will chime in every now and then from here....:goodvibes

Edited to add........YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!! I have followed along with your progress on FB so I was not quite so shocked by your transformation as I would have been, but really......WOW!!!!

Stay home.

that's still my vote!!! LOL!

Hahaha... I did. LOL

Thank you! Yes, I have - I sometimes drive on the road I run on, and I think to myself how much my distance has improved in just a few short weeks... Well, now it's been about 5 or 6 weeks - but still. I just never imagined!

Wow!!!! 8 miles in a day!!! We do walk a lot when we are there, but over the years, I try not to retrace my steps as much as possible, because it's just SO much! So excited to hear that you had very little knee pain - that's great! :thumbsup2 Just go SLOW with your running - that was the key for me... I was going too fast... From what I read, slow down - to the point that you think you could walk it faster... It truly works. ::yes:: You CAN do it! That's awesome! Remember to commit to days off too!!! THose are super important! :thumbsup2

Thanks for stopping by - it was great to see you again!

Welcome back Raina!!! That pool is awesome!!! Definitely a deluxe resort. ::yes::

Oh no worries at all - I promise. LOL I have kept the first 4 posts in this PTR up to date, so as long as you read those - you are good... :thumbsup2

Thank you! I've been working hard at it, I wish there was more progress though - I've been stuck at this exact same size for a year now, despite my best efforts... Oh well... I feel good and I don't dislike how I look. ::yes:: Eventually, some day, maybe my body will take pity on me and go done the one last size that I would like it to. LOL

Thanks for stopping by Raina - it was great to see you again!

That is quite the day. Made me tired just reading about it!

Hahaha... Well, it didn't turn out exactly the way I thought it would... I'll explain below.

You will start seeing changes soon. Just give it some time.

I hope so~! Hi Tess! I miss you... you look great - I saw the pictures of you and Charlie on FB the other tday (the ones at the game) - not only do you look great in orange, but those were great pictures too. I hope you are well!

So, yesterday didn't quite go as I'd intended...

I am getting old... There is no other explanation.

I did my heavy lifting right away in the morning, but I was feeling a little "off".

TMI female stuff ahead...Maybe the guys just want to skp this portion?

I called off of work yesterday... I was feeling lightheaded and like my equalibrium was off for a while in the morning. This happened to me once before, about a month ago... Then i got to thinking... I bet it correlates with my period. For the last year + I've been getting horrible headaches instead of cramps. I googled the headaches a long time ago, and from what I've read, headaches are very common when your estrogen drops. Apparently, dizziness is less common, but still common enough to be mentioned and talked about. Despite looking younger, I guess I am getting old? Never once have I called off of work because of my period... But if I am going to get dizzy spells and awful headaches like this every month, I'll be calling off a lot... It's not safe to drive. So, rather than going to work - I stayed home and rested all morning.

The rest of my day continued as planned though... by the time I had lunch and rested a bit more, I was feeling a bit better and no more equalibrium issues.

So, I got dressed and ready... V and I took Alli to work - then we headed up to the airport to meet Josh with his dad's car. I didn't want to say anything, because my in-laws are a little protective about when they aren't home... But they left right after we left the lake for 4th of July... They took a 5-6 week trip to Greese & Europe - eventually landing in France at Myrthe's parent's vacation home, where they spent some good time with BMT... So, we met them at the airport yesterday. It was wonderful to see them, they looked fantastic. As we were hugging and saying hello... I was thinking to myself - just a few hours prior, they were hugging and saying good-bye to BMT... So, it made me a little sad. We miss them all so much. But we are happy to have Grandma and Grandpa home again. It sounds like they had a wonderful trip, despite the issues in Greese when they left. ::yes::

We stopped at Jimmy Johns to grab dinner on the way home... I wanted to eat there, because otherwise my food wouldn't have enough time to digest so I could go out for a run before dark. But Josh wanted to eat at home (I didn't explain the above to him)... So rather than eating then running, I ran first , then ate. It's weird to be planning my meals around runninig. LOL

But I had a decent run... It looked like rain, but I never actually got wet... I would have enjoyed a few drops. ::yes::

My Jimmy Johns dinner was incredibly delicious after that run - I was starving!

Then I fell asleep in my recliner while Josh went to pick Alli up from work.

All in all - what started out as a weird day, turned out OK. Especially once I realized what was going on. :thumbsup2

Today...

It's WATP and abs on the schedule this morning.

Then breakfast.

Then work.

Around noon, I'll be done working for the day, and I have to leave to take V to an appointment on the other side of the metro. We might decide to sneak off to Valley Fair for an hour or so, since we will be right there. ::yes::

Then I'll come home, make dinner and relax for the evening.

Today is a running rest day... So, no running for me. ::yes::

I hope you all have a fantastic day! Prayers and good thought's go out to all of you! :grouphug:
