When we went on our last Disney cruise, my husband purchased the glass Disney beer glass. Does anyone know if the discount on beer applies if he were to bring it on this cruise? Or are they only good for the cruise you purchase them on?

I think they assume they are 1 cruise only but in reality the glass hasn't changed for years so I've heard of loads of people bringing them back. Unfortunately mine smashed on the way home so I never tried.

Oh wait, I thought you meant the one in my signature. The dog with the chainsaw one is from "Lilo and Stitch." Our dog, Neville, is nicknamed Stitch. We think he might be an alien.

Does anyone know of the schedule as far as formal and/or semi-formal nights? Since the trans- has been 14 nights previously, I'm assuming that the 11-night schedule will be different. We are big fans of pictures, and I'd like some new outfits to look different this time around.

I've emailed for confirmation but someone else asked DCL previously and it was Formal night the 20th September but don't have the date down for semi (25th I think it was but can't find the post). I'll post once I get any more info

YEAH My gamble paid off! I have 33 recipe cards sorted so no one gets a duplicate!

Right just to update for someone who was asking on here - got an email back from DCL regarding numberous things but mainly dates. They confirmed the following:

On 11-Night Transatlantic cruise which departs from Barcelona on Saturday, Sept 19 to Miami Florida:

*Nights 1, 3-5,7-9-11: cruise casual

*Night 2: "formal night" - formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for women: gown or dress

*Night 6: Freezing the Night Away Deck Party with Elsa, Anna and Friends-cruise casual

*Night 9: Pirates In the Caribbean Deck Party

*Night 10: "semi-formal night" - semi-formal wear for men: suit/jacket; for women: dress or pantsuit.

Now as with everything I'm sure this might change again but at least it gives us some ideas

Hi. They do indeed ship them to us. I think though only US East Coast have got them so far so probably next week for us I'd say! Still very exciting.

Hi both! The truth is I'm not sure and the easiest option is to PM the people who have arranged the activities. I know the Celebration lunch is still open but can't honestly remember on anything else. You need 10 posts to PM that's the only thing so post random numbers if needed or ask questions and we can get you up there.

The recipe exchange is officially closed - but we have had one person drop out - so if you wanted to join in - we would have room. Its basically write a favourite recipe and pass it to all the 29 or so people participating - you will get really interesting recipes in return

Champagne Girls!!​

This is it! The grand tradition of pink boas, tiaras, girl-talk and of course, champagne, continues!

It goes like this, we get together, drink champagne, talk, drink champagne, wear pink, drink champagne, wear tiaras, and - did I mention - drink champagne. We will reserve one of the lounges onboard, one afternoon on a sea day, and sample several different types of sparkling wine. Time, day, place, and cost TBD. Once we know all of that, everyone will need to confirm their participation via email. Cost will be charged to your room and will be non-refundable (probably around $30, give or take a bit). In the past, the number of participants has been limited due to room capacity regulations. (I want to say it was around 40 last time, but my memory is a bit hazy.) If we get more than the allotted number of participants, we will start a wait list or possibly organize a second group (but don't count on that - DCL only has so much space to allocate to private activities, so sign up early). This is for women only, no men allowed! You must be over 21 at the time of the cruise to participate. (Please don't ask if you can bring your underage children or traveling companions along, and put me in the awkward position of saying, "no.") PM me here to sign up!
