I checked the runDisney page at the Disney Store site and I'm not seeing any Tink training shirts. Boo.
Yes, they will. After you enter the parks at least one time, go to Guest Relations and upgrade the ticket to the Premier AP. That way your discount stays intact and you pay the difference in the value of your tickets versus the cost of the Premier AP.I bought discounted tickets through a travel agency for Disneyland Half weekend not knowing I'd be doing this race and Princess...hoping they'll let me put the ticket I already have toward a premier annual pass.
Oh good...this gives me hope.Yes, they will. After you enter the parks at least one time, go to Guest Relations and upgrade the ticket to the Premier AP. That way your discount stays intact and you pay the difference in the value of your tickets versus the cost of the Premier AP.
That's what we would always do with promo/discounted tickets at DL. We would use them and before the end of the last day, we would upgrade to the SoCal AP and continue upgrading whenever we needed to enter on blockout days.
Only one can be used towards an upgrade. Is there an expiration date on the vouchers? Or, if you used the voucher to get the ticket, can you save that ticket to use after your Premier AP expires? It will all be dependent upon the expiration date, if there is one.Oh good...this gives me hope.
I think I know the answer to this - or maybe there is no answer because no one else is as dumb as I am when it comes to pre-buying tickets but what if I have 2 vouchers for tickets? Can I put both toward an AP?
Both expire on 12/31/15...Only one can be used towards an upgrade. Is there an expiration date on the vouchers? Or, if you used the voucher to get the ticket, can you save that ticket to use after your Premier AP expires? It will all be dependent upon the expiration date, if there is one.
Another thing you can do is use one voucher towards the purchase of the lower priced AP. At Christmas, use the 2nd voucher ticket to upgrade your AP to the full Premier AP.But if I can at least apply the set of tickets for DL Half Weekend toward the premier AP, I pretty much break even on ticket costs for that weekend, Princess and Tink. And then I'd get better merchandise discounts AND dining discounts, so I'd come out a little ahead, I think. Will have to crunch numbers a bit more later.
OH...good point. That would be a lot smarter!@Ariel484 - is there any chance you'd be back again before Christmas 2016? If there is, you could use the ones you bought for the DL Half for that weekend, then use the 2nd set (the 4 day voucher) and upgrade those while you're on the Christmas trip. Doesn't help with discounts over DL Half weekend, but then you're using everything you bought.
I guess it all depends on how the numbers work out best for you.
Okay, help me out because I'm not totally sure I follow...Another thing you can do is use one voucher towards the purchase of the lower priced AP. At Christmas, use the 2nd voucher ticket to upgrade to the full Premier AP.
You may want to check on this when you go to buy the lower priced AP. We could do this with tickets when upgrading to higher level APs but it was a few years ago.
Yes, I edited after I re-read it so it was me, not you!So I use voucher #1 and get the cheaper AP during DLH Weekend.
Then I go back at Christmas and they'll let me upgrade to the premier AP and put the cost of the second voucher toward it?
Thank you!!! I hope they'll do it.Yes, I edited after I re-read it so it was me, not you!
Yes, take Voucher #2 and your AP to Guest Relations and ask to upgrade to Premier. You can enter the park with the voucher before you head to Guest Relations.
When we had SoCal passes, we would buy special weekend tickets to enter the park during a blockout time, then we would apply that ticket towards our AP upgrade. We always found that Guest Relations to the left of DL's entrance was the best place to do upgrades.
When you do go to Guest Relations during the DL Half Weekend, it won't hurt to ask if it is possible to apply both vouchers to an AP.
