This is really the key statement. The podcast cruise is a private group. You can take the cruise on your own but you won't be part of the group. We're not cruising just for the heck of it. We're cruising specifically to be part of the DIS experience.

Can you give any examples of the DIS experience from a past cruise? We booked but have no idea about what sort of special things could be.

I'm not the best one to answer that question since this will our first Podcast cruise, but they have spoken about them on the show after each cruise so I have some idea. Last cruise, for example, there was a private concert by Jodi Benson (and her husband who is incredible as well). I believe she also did a meet and greet and signed autographs for the group. There is a live podcast recording and I seem to recall them giving away a bunch of really neat prizes in a raffle of some sort.

If you go to YouTube and search "Dis podcast cruise" you can find a bunch of videos from previous cruises.

I need to search You Tube to learn more, and I look forward to meeting friends. I've never signed up for a subgroup of a cruise population before, so thank you disneysteve for the wonderful example!

I am trying to really keep this cruise off my mind.....there are many, many days to wait. We have cruised several times so no anxiety about that. I AM very excited to meet the folks that keep me in stitches on the podcasts.

Hmmm, maybe I'm disremembering which category you are booked in, or confusing it with @WebmasterKathy, but I thought you were in Star Class. Val & I are in Sky Class, since we have a Grand Suite.

We are in a Crown Loft Suite (That is what my DW told me this AM).
