Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Just wanted to wish Dee and her family a safe and happy trip to Yelllowstone! I'm sure we will all be here when you get back, and miss you in the meantime. Goodness knows a break is well deserved with all the wonderful work you do on this thread. Enjoy!

My family will be visiting Yellowstone
Enjoy Yellowstone. Our family certainly loved it and talk about going back often. We ate lunch at the Roosevelt Lodge in the Northeast corner of the park. I was good food but more so it was in a really cool lodge.

Bumping this up to see if anyone has recommendations for you.
I just got back from the Grand Canyon. I was with a bunch of Boy Scouts so we sat outside El Tovar and ate packaged tuna and pitas. But the dining room looked very nice and our Grand Canyon Railroad car attendant said it was her favorite place to eat on the South Rim. Take that for what it's worth. In any case, it was super cool to look out to the canyon where we had been hiking the four days before. The burger at The Maswik Lodge was amazing but I know that was only because of the aforementioned four days of canned and dehydrated food. The only other eating advice I have is don't feed the squirrels - they're psycho.

Dee..my family was at Yellowstone in June. Absolutely beautiful! We were able to see a momma grizzly and 2 cubs by the roadside and numerous buffalo. You are going to love it! Have a great trip!

Thanks for posting!!! We are looking forward to this very different type of trip and posts like this really help fuel our excitement! I won't clog up the thread, but I am going to send you a Private Message with a couple of quick questions.

:goodvibes:

For those not into the Sunken Treasure (heathens!), the Grand Margarita is super tasty. In the name of science and good reporting, I had several today.

The things I do for you people...

I know, right?

I like to think of us as the stunt men and women of Disney vacations. It prevents a lot of whining about "My Sunken Treasure is too cold" or "The fan in my room won't spin clockwise". It's up to people like us to alert social media to these crushing first world problems so that those that go after us can wring every last drop of enjoyment out of their Disney vacations. Just think about what the world would be like if the "Secret Door" was still a secret or the hidden laundry room stayed hidden.

Oh the humanity!
Please thank your liver for it's service to our vacations.

Hi

My friend and her family will be staying at the YC in a few weeks--they have never been to WDW before so I am helping them plan :) They would like to order some things (snacks, water, etc) from Amazon Prime and I wasn't sure if this would be delivered to the convention center and thus be subject to a charge? I figured someone on here would hopefully have ordered from Amazon Prime and would be able to let me know--thanks so much!

Dee, have a great trip to Yellowstone!

Thanks! Did you do the RR? We go in 6 weeks and can't wait!
