Anyone else gone from The Disboards for a long time and come back? Like me?

Hi all! I found Disboards back between 2006/2008 and was an avid poster for about 4 years-ish. When my marriage crumbled in 2010 and I went through major life changes consequently, I fell away from here and mostly got my social buzz from Facebook ever since.

I'm back! Reason being, I'm just sort of bored w/FB and remember how fun it was to get to know people on the boards here. Being a member of this community was always fun and interesting and I learned new things every day, away from the many annoying things that come along with social networking.

The commonality of this Disney love is pretty cool, and I've missed it.

Just got back from Disneyland last week, visited Epcot back in December for the first time. I also love cruising and went on my 2nd Royal Caribbean in December, and will be embarking on my first Carnival this December!

I'm a huge Vegas fan as well and love premium and luxury hotels and spa resorts. I plan travel and blog about it too, can you tell? haha...

Might have just been my posting style haha. I was "passionate" you could say and would correct people when they said completely wrong information.

Well I don't see why anyone should get bent out of shape. I am the same way, I recently realized at this ripe old age of 30-ahem-something, that I can be a bit of a know-it-all. But hey, when you know, you know! lol

I was on for a few months, and then I got busy and didn't come back for a few years and now I've started posting again. Okay, not nearly as much a part of it as you two. There's just so much going on here that it's hard to keep up with it all.

I used to be much more of a lurker, but then my wife decided to go on a 2 month vacation with her mother and here I am. I'm much more active here these days for some reason.

I joined in early 2010 but never posted too much, and after a year gradually stopped posting. The last time I even read the boards was perhaps two years ago. I decided to return, but couldn't remember my exact screen name or even the e-mail address I used to use. None of my e-mail addresses were associated with an account when trying to log on. So I gave up and created a new screen name. A moderator said that there was a format change this past winter and some inactive accounts may have been deleted.
