Watching for BOG Breakfast to be Extended-Now Open :)

I am curious how many people who snagged reservations may discard them if the park hours change. I won't lie. I will get rid of mine and just do lunch instead, especially if I am not using a DDP.

I will definitely cancel if they change them.

Glad I checked this out today! I started with an 8:50, kept checking and got an 8:40, kept checking and got an 8:30, changed the time from Breakfast to 6:30am and got an 8:20 Still trying for an 8:00 on 10/14. Got an 8:00 for 12/31.

How do off site stayers make an 8am res? Does the ferry run at like 7:45am?

Me too! I am kind of afraid that will be the case ....based on everything I have read and heard about the holiday season, for December they will most likely open MK at 8:00.

Thanks to whomever posted about specifying an early time! At first I just put in "breakfast", and the earliest time it gave me was 8:40. I went back after I read that tip and was able to get an 8:05.

Oh, as far as park opening times changing in December...has it happened in the past where they open earlier on a party day? The day I got our ressie for is a MVMCP day, so I'm hoping that makes it less likely that they will change to an 8am opening since the party goes late that night. Anyone have any experience with them changing times on party days, or should I be pretty safe? Thanks!

I was able to just nab mine as well for December. I am hoping that this is considered a counter service meal instead of TS, as that would be awesome. Thanks for the heads up! Now if only Liberty Tree would open up!

Follow up question: if they change the park opening from 9 to 8, will they also eventually offer even earlier breakfast ADRs? Or does breakfast always start at 8 regardless of park hours?

Just curious? What time did they open? I checked around 6:20 this morning and it was still nothing. I was finely able to get on tonight, saw that the thread title changed and immediately checked. I was able to get an 8:10 for October 6, which will get us out before rope drop I guess.

One thing to note that I have noticed is that the EMH hours are different than last year as well, so even if you have an 8:00 am ADR that is early pre- opening on a certain day it may not actually be the same way this year. Just something to watch out far as I am learning in my planning and that hours won't be settled until two weeks before the start of the month (again...all based on research I am doing to try to plan things just right but won't be true until they finalize hours So sadly, for those of us planning in December at the moment, 8:00 am BOG breakfast will likely not be pre-opening because it is in December.

I asked the same question and the answer I received was no....but I did notice that CP actually ended up opening up 7:00 reservations AFTER my 180 day mark for December which did not make sense because the park still shows it opens it 9. I know those were not there when I first started making reservations and then randomly about 3 weeks later, I was able to book multiple days of 7:00 am CP breakfast. Maybe...just maybe they will do the same thing for BOG if volume is high enough?

Good question. We are staying onsite but planning to drive. Will we not be able to get to MK for morning EMH or an early breakfast?

So excited to sleep tonight, but I'm finding that I have to keep stopping myself from going online to check for ADR's.

Well, the only time I was able to book on 11/11 was 9:25. Saw the note about it opening on August 6th and figured I would be safe to actually put in some face time at the BBQ I was hosting.

I guess I'm going to keep an eye on the cancellations thread to see if an earlier breakfast or a lunch opens up.

Just made a breakfast reservation for our October trip at 8:05am. I'm so excited! We've never been in MK before it opens!

We got two 8:10 breakfasts for both our MK days, but I was curious as to how people were able to select a time earlier than 8 am from the drop down menu? A couple of people mentioned selecting 6:30 am from the drop down menu. (I realize the earliest ADR anyone could actually book was 8:05 am, but just wondered why we would see different time selections from the drop down menu. Seems odd since the restaurant doesn't open until 8 am)
