What are some cheap -- preferably free -- romantic things to do at MK post-Wishes? According to my sources (a bf who is horrendous at keeping secrets) we may have some reason to celebrate. :lovestruc

Ride the train, or if you're a TTA fan like me, that'd do :) Meet Mickey if he's available, and tell him any good news you might have to share :)

It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, mini-golf, fishing, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour
eating: Formal GF 5* Chef's Table @ V&As

night things - ride the monorail or ferry over to the Polyn - and walk over to the GF - although less romantic now - they build a sidewalk - but think you can still walk in the sand.

where are you staying? some wdw resorts have late night things to do.

We're staying over near Universal, but I couldn't go down and not go to Disney though so we're squeezing in one day.

One suggestion is a celebratory ride on Prince Charming Regal Carrousel - sweet, old fashioned, romantic, with a castle view. It's especially lovely at night. I like a PP's suggestion to visit Mickey to share the news or possibly, if you have a favorite princess, visit her and share the news - you know how those girls love romance! Get your picture taken in front of the castle. Celebrate by sharing a sweet or cold treat, perhaps a sundae from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor or a Dole Whip. Whatever you enjoy together, no matter how silly it might be to other people, will be the perfect celebration.

so do you only want WDW things to do or Orlando?
I know Disney, and Universal pretty well, but this is my first "couple" trip. We're only doing MK and as I've never been with anyone I was actually with I've never really paid much attention to what might be nice for couples.

does it have too be the same night?

if not then go visit DD (Spings) it can be fun to walk around it - just be carefully and don't take your money or cc with you put them in the trunk.

you can also go see the show at POR - bob's

Stay in the park as late as possible, find a comfy bench where you can see the castle, and watch it change colors until they make you leave!

With any luck, some of the photographers will be working late and you can get a night picture with the castle behind you.

Make-out in a Doom Buggy.

Those doom buggies are romantic! DH & I found them quite so during our honeymoon... you will never forget a kiss to the sound of the Ghost Host's eerie voice. Also Spaceship Earth was good for some romantic cuddling...our car stopped for awhile at the top with the stars surrounding us, it was really pretty.
