Our family would love to participate in the candy exchange. We have 2 kids, cabin 2550.
Also our friends would love to do it too (they are aren't on the website yet, she's working on it). 4 people in their party too, 2 are kids. Cabin 9568

Ok...I can sign you and your friends up, but I need to have a way to get the group's roster to you. Once you get 10 posts here I can send you the information via a "conversation." You can simply post the word "hi" in each post, or you can give us all some information, like where you are from, your favorite resort, what you are most looking forward to doing on the cruise?
I try to keep the groups as near to the same floors as I can, so, you and they will not be in the same group, unless you ask here.

Secret Verandah Rooms - They have a slight obstruction on the balcony - They are I believe a 5A room downgraded to a 7A cost. They are really nice snag if you can get one as they sell out quickly as there are not very many on the ship - I was lucky to get one on our Alaska Cruise - Very slight obstruction - I am a short person also so it didn't bother me a bit and it was a nice savings!

No Cruise Docs at my house today! I will be on the look-out for them! Should be getting some magic bands too! Can't get enough of them!!! I hope everyone is having a Great Week. I am watching the Tour De France - I always spend my July watching them bike all over France - just so pretty (France - not the Bikers)

Favorite DVC Resort - Animal Kingdom - my home resort - Close 2nd - Bay Lake - I just love that resort!!!! So want to own points there - wish I could find a resale for my Use Year! I know I will find one some day and then I will have points at my two favorites!! But I do like VWL a lot also! Kind of a strange grouping - Africa / Modern / Lodge = Modern is not my thing - but I do love Bay Lake! I like the looks of AKL and VWL a lot - just can't explain why I love BLT so much.

I read in past cruises that the dvc celebration starts in the terminal....any word if it will be the same for the Aug cruise?

No, to knowing who guest speakers will be.

Someone mentioned they recently finally saw Malificent. I hope to see Cinderella on the cruise, I have no idea if it's too late for them to be showing that.

Lynn, a lot of us here like VWL! As far as France's beauty, I thoroughly agree! The movie in France at Epcot shows a gorgeous country. I look forward to seeing some of France after our EBTA next year.

We always do the breakfast buffet the last morning. Is going to the sit down breakfast a better choice?

This is my 4th MC, and I can't say I noticed that much difference in the terminal, except there seems to be more interaction between members....maybe larger family groups, or friends.

On board, there is usually an ice sculpture or something noticeable as you enter the ship.

Last year as I waited to board, I noticed my favorite presenter, animator, Stacia Martin going through security ahead of me. That made my day. She is a truly nice person who has lots of Disney lore to share. I'm hoping she is on board again!

When I'm with DH, he prefers dining room, so that's where I'll be.

By the way, some here will meet outside Cabanas for lunch on the sea day. We'll meet by the elevator entrance before noon when it opens. Some will have pins, for trading, discussing, just for fun!

Rented bikes for the whole family. Looking forward to seeing the island from a different view. If anyone has advice I'd love to hear it.

I have..had chewy rib eye steak sandwich. Not the worst I ever had. Sometimes I've gone back on board to eat.

I've rented bikes with friends, and it was fun. We climbed the platform observation tower. This year, I really want to snorkel!

sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. We are in cabin number10650, 3 adults, and no allergies. We are very excited and cant wait for the cruise date to get here.
