Do they still stop at a water park after leaving DTD when heading back to BC?

When we stayed at the BC this past April, the DTD bus only shared between the YC/BC and did not stop at Typhoon Lagoon on the way back to the resorts.

Hope everyone had a nice 4th of July weekend!

Well, no planning updates here, but we have a good reason....

We watched the Women's Soccer Team win the World Cup instead! USA! USA! USA! My DD is a soccer player and had us watching every U.S. game in the World Cup. We went out to eat last night and watched the game at a local sports place. What a great finish to an amazing season!


We will get our planning in sometime this week for sure. We have Fastpass selection next week, so it is a must!

My Disney Experience booklet for my BCV stay arrived today. I am so excited for this trip I fear I may kick myself for 9 days at the Poly in Dec. i remembered monorail resorts being so easy and now it seems, monorail refurb or not, transportation at them is a headache. Alreqdy wishing I were at YC or BC so I could walk to one park.

Thanks, I suspected I just got a little pixie dust at AKL and they forgot to charge me. Could have been because we had to wait about 45 min. at check in because they had messed up our MB and then I had to go back down later in the day because they messed up the charging to them. Neither time was I upset, as a matter of fact we arrived way early and didn't expect to get our room anyway and had a blast talking to the cast member at the front desk while she was dealing with it all. I do have a TIW and I did use it at dinner our last night at AKL but I don't think there was any way they could have connected the two. Maybe I'll experiment with it again this trip, I was probably going to valet park anyway.

We had free valet at GF and BC when I had my temporary handicap parking after foot surgery

Oh how tragic - all those vacations ruined! At least no one was hurt!

We were a block up I Drive in a Comfort Inn. It was nasty.

Isn't there a Monorail to Epcot from Downtown Disney? I know when I was taking the Monorail to Universal I thought I saw where we passed the DTD stop. ; )

NM. They are just now building it. It is part of the new construction known as the Disney Springs Project.

Wow the DTD (I just can't call it Disney Springs, sorry) construction looks terrible! For some reason I thought they had made more progress than that. Of course, I suppose that IS progress, but wow.

That's an old picture they have made more progress. That picture is the area where the boathouse and soon to open hangar restaurants sit.

Nope, I guess we just got a little bit of pixie dust. My DS is a disabled Navy vet but he refuses to use a tag, he did have some problems on the safari that you can do if you are staying at AKL and he didn't say anything but the guide noticed and made sure the people in the restaurant knew he was hurting so the head waiter was really paying attention to him. Someone may have said something to the front desk, but we never mentioned it, he doesn't think he should take advantage of it and doesn't want to be treated differently than anyone else.

@Lalabubbles Congrats on getting to double digits! Love the countdown board you made, but I'm curious about the other item in the picture "To all who come to this happy place, welcome!"...where did you pick that up?

Oh that's good! I haven't followed the construction very closely, we really only go for Raglan Road so as long as that isn't affected I tend not to worry about it Thanks for the info!

I love that countdown too!!! And we have that castle as well. DH got it for me for Christmas -- not sure where he got it, I'm going to have to ask him!!
