And how you make your door Decoration???

Because of the Gifts ....have you some Idee for me???? Can it be some typical from Austria ...... I have only to need Attention because of the Wight by the flight....:((

We also make a Second Cruise by Disney on the 8th August.......unfortunatelly i havent found such a nice Group like this......:)))))

I don't want to give it all away but I will tell you that I made magnets for each person in our group for them to use on their door.
There is another board on this site that has designers that will design different things for your trip also.

Like I had said in one of the earlier post. I have gifts for each person in the group and lots of gifts for the kids. I do also have a small little something from Texas. It is just something in the shape of Texas and a ittle something to go with that.

Another good place to look for ideas is on Pinterest. Just search on Pinterest Fish Extender Gifts for Disney Cruise. There is tons of ideas on there.

Several FE Groupies have had questions so I have tried to put a little information together to help those that need help.

The Disney ships have an ornamental fish outside the room. The fish is used by cruise personnel to leave a note for someone in the state room. What folks do is buy or make a holder with pockets that they will hang from the fish. We call this contraption a fish extender. Here is a link with examples of fish extenders. http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-cruise-line/fish-extender-basics.htm Most folks get fish extenders that have the same number of pockets as there are members of their group - one pocket per family member... but its not a requirement.

People participating in this FE will know the stateroom of all the other participants (from what is posted on our list here in this thread). I will bring along some extra copies of the FE room list with me onboard and post on my stateroom door (Stateroom #7110). There will be instances where rooms get changed at check in. If this is the case, please write such room changes on the dry eraseboard on stateroom #7110 and I will communicate it to others.

The FE participants are expected to buy or make a small gift that they will leave for each of the participants sometime during the cruise. So it is sort of like a Secret Santa exchange. Some get a gift for the room, others personalize stuff for each person in the room or tailor it to the ages of the folks in the room. Most make a single gift delivery, some make multiple deliveries (multiple small gifts). Its really up to you what you want to give or how much to spend on the gifts, but the more creative or imaginative, the better. You can deliver your gifts whenever it best for you. You don't have to deliver them all at once. Just do whatever is best for you and your family.

Many newbies are worried about what kind of gift or gifts to get. Please just do what is best for you. In my opinion FEs are part of what makes sailing on Disney Cruise Line so special and I can't imagine not doing it. This is our first Disney Cruise so I am by no means an expert. I just wanted to try and organize our group so that we would have one for our cruise.

Similar to Secret Santa, the gifts run the gamut. Folks often make or purchase a Disney inspired gift or will share something about where they are from. Many will give a highly personalized gift, others will give something to make the cruise more enjoyable. Food/Candy is common as are creative gifts. Just have fun! I hope this helps.

Hello. New to all this and having to "post in secret" as well. A friend told me to find my "FE Group" and if I'm reading correctly the group is closed. I think I'll hang around for the information sharing though. We are a group of 4 traveling for my son's "wish trip" through the AT&T Wish Connection. IT'S A HUGE SECRET TO HIM UNTIL AUG 1st!!! He finds out AUG 1st and we fly out AUG 2nd. Crazy!

If you want to start a new group you are welcome to do so. All you need to do it post on the cruise meet forum and then the person in charge monitoring it will add your group. You are welcome to use some of the information that I have posted to help plan your trip.

I found some images on another thread, saved the image, and printed as a full page photo, and it worked just fine.
About half way down the page on that thread or more towards the end of that page you will find a few things that you might want to make for your door. It has a pirate hat, Mickey Ears and Sailing Mickey Ears.

How about I start the second group and it will be on this same thread but your group will be Group 2 (Donald Duck Group). Just give me a bit and I will get it started for you. Your group may not have very many people join it this late but you can always try. What do you think???
