Yes. And even if they didn't you could walk to Yacht, Beach or Boardwalk and grab a bus there.

How does it work for the rest of us? We log into Active.com... but what next? What page do we refresh to wait for the registration button at noon on the 14th? Will it be within active.com or on the rundisney website, or...?

There's a link to Active.com that will appear on runDisney.com. Lately it seems like they've been having the link there at 11:55ish EST, but it's not active until closer to noon.

Not to turn this into a resort thread, but I tried to price a LM room at AoA and there were none available! That was just after the 2016 packages came out.

We've had trouble with the LM rooms ... sometimes they show as unavailable, but if you check again a few hours later, they're there. I don't know why. Keep trying!

Just spoke with the travel agent he told me ,I am booked in to the Beach Club or Beach Front confused on name so much info coming at us. We have never been to DW. Can anyone tell me if the dining package should be bought? TA also said there is a discount on food seeing we are staying in a DW resort but it can not be combined with the food package. Confused as to what is better? Can anyone give me advise. TA told me bus service is great from this resort. Total newbie to all this!

What dates are you looking for? I know they are available Thu-Mon (18th-22nd). I have a Lion King Suite booked for those dates, but now I'm doubting my choice LOL!!! I may move over to a 1-bedroom villa somewhere if the AP rates are around the same cost. I need a separate bedroom next year. I love my family, but I need some sleep. I was in a room at CBR with my kids this year and it was rough.

ETA - It was rough trying to get to sleep at a decent time. I didn't get to sleep until after 11pm then up at 3:30am to get to the 10K. I was dead on my feet by 1pm and tried to nap, but, again, kids made it hard. I can't go through that two races in a row.

Sure, it's possible, but I don't know how likely it is.

They did last year on the Friday night. ...however that was like the week before AND you had the quadfectra of things going on, PHM, Daytona 500, the end of presidents day week and Mardi gras. So it can but it's not likely. As long as you book a couple of months before, you're good.

Beach CLUB. Great choice - good pool and you can walk to 2 parks!

The discount on food - not sure what they're talking about there. Do you have Tables in Wonderland?

Dinig package - totally up to you. It's too much food for me so I don't do it anymore.

I had to go back and see...since you are using Acclaim then I'm sure it's Beach Club. I even looked up "beachfront resort orlando" just to SEE if there was some sort of place like that, before I found your post saying you were using Acclaim.

I do NOT know what they are talking about there. You have to find out more info. There's no discount on food just for staying onsite. There is the Dining Plan, but that's not something that works for everyone. If you have time to read and learn about a topic, check out the Disney dining plan forum here on the Dis. And write back to him. Get more information regarding what he is talking about when he talks about a discount on food for staying onsite that's not the same as the dining plan.

TA told me bus service is great from this resort.

Bus service can be great or awful depending on when you walk up, honestly. I've gotten consistently horrible bus service when at AKL, while others get good service there. From Beach Club you can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, but don't believe any promises about the buses to other parks.

Glass Slipper here I come! Booked my flights and have a reservation at Beach Club.

All that is left is to train for the next 7 months! I have been battling a severe case of plantar fascitis for the past few months. Injections, PT, etc. I had a radio frequency treatment 2 weeks ago and finally seeing some relief. Hoping it works.

Had the first race nightmare...dreamed DH and I had stopped along the half marathon course to have breakfast with friends and then got lost ! Seems I always have strange dreams before a race and then everything goes fine for the race....just seems too far in advance right now !
