Poppy Ran Me Over With His Scooter - A PHM Trip Report UPDATE!! 7/23 Pg. 21

Thanks so much! That's awesome that you got pigments. They can be touchy to work with if you haven't used them before, so just pick up very little at a time. I also like using them wet, but don't use water, use Visine instead. It's safe for your eyes, and makes them last much longer while creating a foiled effect. And if you do wet them, make sure your brush is synthetic. :)

Awwwww, we had to hop on the regular registration time for the PHM for many of our group. As long as you're on right when the window opens, I think you should be fine.

Thanks for the tip when using them wet. I am not that brave yet. I did do Dinosaur themed make-up (greens) to see Jurrasic World this weekend...fun. I will not be sharing any pics as I could not take a selfie to save my life.

Thanks for the reassurance about getting a spot if I am on right away. We will see tomorrow.

Poor Joaquin...and I concur....throw the pants out. Your mom really is Super Ommi

Love the mega-update! Fun to see dinner at Akershus, as we just did breakfast there. Looks like you guys had a blast!

Great Character Spot photos!

Oh no, poor Joaquin! That may just top any potty stories I have for the TR. :rotfl:

"I think sleeping beauty has extensions" :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: OMG - that cracked me up!

Great update - right to the very end and the poopy pants. At least he had a spare (I'm assuming from the post picture).

Super cute family pictures (well, for the most part.....)

Great princess pictures, even if Snow Whites eyes were a little too blue from that makeup.

Baby Troy is so cute.

How fun to have all the kids fight over sitting with you (well, except Master J).

We had dinner at Akershus on our last trip and my husband and I both loved it! The entrees were great, but the cold buffet was my favorite part!

Oh poor Joaquin! I guess when you gotta go you gotta go! I'm sure he will love reading his Tee-Tee's trip reports when hes older about that time he pooped his pants in Disney World lol

Can't wait to see how everyone does in the races!

LOL I love the family pic!

So cute that the kids were fighting over you! :goodvibes

The group pic with Belle came out nice! Love your we-sies with the princesses!

All the character spot pics are sooo cute!

Aww poor Joaquin! It's definitely one of those stories that's not funny but you have to laugh.

The PP pictures at the front of Epcot are hilarious! So totally your family.

I got a good chuckle out of the Beverly video but I wasn't able to watch the second one because it said I needed to log in.

Akershus is one of the few restaurants that I haven't made it to yet. Well at least of the ones I would eat at. It's on my list to try someday.

Sleeping Beauty and her extensions! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Cute pictures from the Character spot!

Aww, poor Joaquin! That had to be so embarrassing for him. Although he doesn't look all that embarrassed in the last picture. :)

Aww, poor Joaquin! It is funny in retrospect though. I'm just picturing him being held at arms length while covered in poop. :rotfl:As a nurse and also being immature poop stories are always funny. ;)

I think it's sweet that everyone wanted to ride with you. Clearly, you are the cool one in the group that everyone wants to hang with.

Glad dinner was a success. Your plates actually look really good. I've never paid much attention to Akershus simply because nobody in my party is a princess meal fan. But the food looks like it would be worth it.
And I totally laughed at Ariel's, "Eric has 87," comeback. Princess was on her game that night.

Oh man....the poor Poopgate debacle. I did laugh a little a the story, but I also felt bad for Mom and Dad; nothing ever goes smoothly with kids. I'm sure 90% of parents have had to make a mad dash to the Emporium or MouseGears to buy some new clothes due to a malfunction.

I love Akershus! Is steak new to the menu? I don't remember it being on it the last time I was there (Oct. '13). I do remember the seared beef tenderloins being delish. Do they still give like four different desserts to share?

Your mom is a gem. How sweet of her to get the girls autograph books.

Poor Joaquin! Kind of personal, but did he get new underwear also or just go commando the rest of the evening? It is a funny story, though.

It looks downright frigid the way you're all bundled. The one time we were there in late January, we had weather in the 40's and 50's all week. The last day, deparature day, was in the 80's of course.

Those are some great group pictures! Will be fun to look back on years down the road

Glad you enjoyed Akershus - we've always had pretty solid experience there (actually might like the lunch food a little better than dinner) and the princess interaction has always been good.

Oh gosh, that is quite the story! Poor guy. Definitely sounds like one of those things that is horrible in the moment but looking back on it you have to laugh a bit.

What a lovely photo with Belle, everyone is looking the right way and smiling :)

Your meal sounds great but poor Joaquin, it obviously didn't like him!!!

Oh man, I know I shouldn't laugh at a child's poop misfortunes.... But I am, very heartily. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Your mom is Super Ommi - how sweet of her to get autograph books for all the kiddos! I think you need to do Cinderella's makeup - I agree, that blue shadow does need some blending. Those meatballs do look delish, guess I need to try dinner there.
Oy, Poopgate...poor Joaquin!
I'm sure 90% of parents have had to make a mad dash to the Emporium or MouseGears to buy some new clothes due to a malfunction.
::yes:: Count me in that 90% of shopping at MouseGears due to a "malfunction". Oddly enough ours happened after dining at Akershus as well...

Great update!

Troy looks adorable in his baby carrier. I like the pictures with Mickey. Troy is starring at him, wondering what the heck this giant toy is is all about. :)

The Beverly reactions were awesome ... as was the laughter from the adults.

As the makeup expert, I trust you when you say Cinderella's makeup needed more blending around the edges. I couldn't tell ... but I also don't pay much attention to makeup in general.

I love all the character pictures!

Poor Joaquin ... but at least he got some Disney pants out of it!

I can't wait to read about your experience with the very freezing Frozen 5K (seriously ... the weather did not need to take the name quite so seriously!)

I'm late, but present! I just had to tell you how proud I am of you and your running achievements, as weird as that may be coming from someone you don't know. My dad recently promised a trip to Disney if we run one of their 5k's together, and MAN am I struggling! It's always nice to see such a success story to keep the motivation going. :goodvibes I'm also totally jealous of your big group, it's usually just my dad and I when we do Disney. And you get cool points for the Zack Attack gif! Anyway, enough rambling. I am here and loving it!

Danielle, I'm finally here (sorry...as you know, I've been a bit preoccupied with something).

This was a fun, funny and "funny" update.

I'm glad it didn't take long for you to all get ready to head to Epcot. Yep, a bus ride is a bus ride.

Typical family picture in front of Spaceship Earth. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Can I just say that Joaquin is my favorite. That kid just cracks me up.

I love the kids are fighting over who is riding with you.

We've not been to the restaurant in Norway since 2007. We didn't care for it. The girls and I are goig next month for breakfast. Perhaps on a future trip we wil give dinner a shot again.

Awww...how sweet of your mom to go get autograph books.

And poor Joaquin. He must have had a really upset belly.

Basically, we made it back to the hotel, only to get freshened up, turn around, and head back out again for the evening.

You know we've al felt this way before.

Pretty much.

Hey your group shot turned out pretty good considering how many people there were.

You're so popular Danielle, you've just got to deal with it.

Aww you all do look so great with Belle.

Your mom really is super. Way to go.

Well Eric just is overall better ;)

Ooopsy daisy for Veronica kissing the other child. Welp, it happens and a least no one made a big deal about it.

Memory Maker names suck. I always end up renaming all my pictures for that reason. But they are fab pictures, so all is well.

Oh no that bathroom story. Poor Joaquin.

These are completely out of order, but I HATE the way Memory Maker stamps these and then they end up all out of order when I upload them to Photobucket.
Ugh! I know! I was just griping about it to DH! But, there is a tiny bit of hope. There is a sliver of order to the madness. They are in order of Park, then location, then date, then time.

I just jotted down where we stopped for photopass and when for each day and I've been able to line things up fairly nicely.

Your mom is the best! :)

Dinner looks like so much fun but then again your crew makes fun wherever they are!

Aww poor Joaquin. What a crappy way to end the day! (pun intended)
