What time does Downtown Disney Shopping close?

I read somewhere that the Boardwalk Street Performers called Boardwalk Buskers where only Thursdays – Saturday evenings from 6:30PM to 10:30PM: street performers like balancing acts, a juggler, street musicians, sword swallowers, and magician. Is this still accurate?

Hi! We are staying at BC for the first time this weekend. It's a completely last minute trip for SWW. My questions are should I request to be by the lobby or elevators? I've heard the hallways can be long and I'd like to minimize walking. Also do the rooms with King beds have daybeds? I'd prefer that, but most of what I've read only mentions 2 queen beds and daybeds.

Alright, I'm not trying to start a mob scene, but bath and body works is having their big sale right now and, and... and Rainkissed Leaves (aka beach club smell) hand soap is only $3 a bottle!


They only have the scent in the hand soaps, no lotions or anything (at least not the store I checked). But my hands do smell pretty beach clubby right now.

It's pretty close. I'd have to actually be standing in the lobby right now to confirm but considering they use aloe and green clover at the BC, this rainkissed leaves does smell "leafy" and clean.

The last time I stayed there was at Christmas a few years, and then it smelled of chocolate and vanilla from the Merry-Go-Round - smelled heavenly! My husband actually get to where he didn't like it, cause it was pretty strong!

Thanks for the reminder! I had totally forgotten it was time for their big sale! Online I see they have Rainkissed Leaves in lotions, shower gel, fragrance and soaps all on sale.

Here are some pictures from our stay at the BC this past weekend. We were in room 5677 on the club level, and it was a great location. I know a few folks have expressed concern over the Roman blinds, but they did not bother us. This room has a full balcony and a daybed, and is a Standard View Room. I was surprised when I went out on the balcony and looked to my left. We had an awesome view of the pool. The view directly forward was of the roof, but who would look at that when the pool is right there? I also got the upgraded H20 spa products that you normally only get at the GF, which was also a nice surprise.

We did get a text with our room number before we arrived, which I thought was pretty cool. The club level CM met us at the hotel entrance, though, because our bands would not work for the club elevator until we opened the door to the room. The room itself was in great condition. I really love the new design. The new club lounge is amazing! We did a split stay between the BC and the Contemporary, and I thought the food lounge at the BC had the edge due to more options for food, but the CR had the edge for drinks and alcohol. The CR lounge has a much more relaxed vibe than the BC.

It would be tough to choose between the CR and the BC in the future. Both stays were totally amazing!

Here are some pictures from our stay at the BC this past weekend. I know a few folks have expressed concern over the Roman blinds, but they did not bother us.

Here is a helpful tip from Ninja Mom regarding those types of shades. You can easily stuff the openings with your underwear, just like NM does! Your undies will help to block the light and you will have a convenient place to store your girdles and unmentionables that will make them easy to find during those hectic morning rush hours. This tip comes in handy if you should be running out of drawer space in the room and, as an added bonus, few members of the family will compete with you for the use of this location. It's a big win all around!

I thought our May trip was going to be my last before I started dental school. But then I found an awesome deal for the week before school, SO...

L and I will be at Beach Club August 6-10!

We got some AWESOME pixie dust in May (upgrade from standard room to 1BR, CL suite!), but hopefully this time around we'll get a renovated room. Fingers crossed!

We have arrived at Disney, sort of. Tonight we are staying at a Marriott close to Downtown Disney. We ate dinner at Planet Hollywood and did some shopping. Tomorrow morning we will check in at YC and head to the parks!

Had a decent day yesterday. At parks all day. We are limited to th number of chaperones who van go to classes so I was solo at Mk. Mine train Peter pan with new line dumbo and little mermaid (first time for both) lunch at chh space splash big thunder small world ice cream tta buzz. Then mono to ep. Just time for soarin and supper. Illuminations delayed do we left. Today I go to class at Epcot. Hs later. I have a nighttime story that almost rivals the midnight fire drill. Ta ta. Time to make the breakfast!

DisneyMomx7, how scary. How is he feeling today? My oldest daughter wants to play field hockey and I'm really not enthusiastic. My niece has played on the varsity team since she was a freshman and has had two concussions and ACL surgery (she'll be a senior in high school next year).
