Kardashian shut down?

The Court of Angels became part of C33 last year.

Yes. I know that. Thank you anyway. Also I believe I corrected what was confusing you regarding my awesome sentence structure. Lol. Lmao

People, people! North is ONLY 2! What would she ride?
And Kim finally with child.
And her Sister's child is under 6 months.

Ridiculous even.

I live here and don't watch the news.

Yes, I cannot spell and spell check failed me.

So you don't think a possible disruption to a big part of the area's economy, when there are supposedly SO many people with socal APs who might have plans to go after school gets out, isn't news?

If our local waterpark, Wild Waves, is going to be closed for some reason during the summer, I'd want to know!
I only consider it news of it's happening. The story wasn't oh they may be taking over Disneyland, it was they are not taking over Disneyland. Only point there is to have their name on the news.

I do understand that more entertainment news is going to be the norm here, but non-stories just to have a someone's name on the tv is bs.

Wasn't K & K's $215 million USD good enough for C33? I find that confusing.
Maybe Caitlyn will be allowed membership?

My son was only 6 months old his first trip. They can ride every ride that doesn't have a height requirement. All the same stuff I was able to ride when I was pregnant with him and went to DLR.

I took my DD when she was two and she was able to ride most of the rides. Only the big ticket rides with HT requirements were out for her and there are only a few of those. And she loved the characters, shows, and attractions. So really at 2 there is plenty of things little ones like that can do.

I live here. Close to DL. Just listening to Ryan Seacrest on KKIS and he is reporting that KIMYE is 'shutting the Parks down for North West's birthday party on June 15th' .... his co host Ellen Kay did say that
what they heard was that 'Disneyland gets 40,000 visitors a day @$96.00per day and that KIMYE will be
paying $4.2 million to have North's party there
'.

(Its $99.00 per day for one Park)

I so hope this is not true. That DL will be shut down totally.:headache::mad:

I'm watching for the 19th! That's the only day I'll have at Disneyland, the 18th is DCA day. We are traveling there for E3.

Ryan Seacrest's production company produces "Keeping Up With the Kardasians" so he has an interest in promoting the rumor to keep them relevant, but that doesn't mean it's true.

Once again, US Weekly says they are NOT shutting the park down, and they have a monetary deal with the family.

This article indicates that Disney will not close the entire park for a private event as a matter of policy:

Of course, this same article refers to Disneyland's "Magic Kingdom," so it's clearly not a source that is that familiar with Disney parks. That said, I can't personally think of an instance where Disney shut down any of its parks in their entirety during normal park hours. Closing early, sure, but not closing entirely for a whole day. I'm slated to be there around this time myself, so here's hoping this is just a rumor -- I'm only there for a day, so shutting down early would kind of wreck my plans.

I don't read any of the K stuff and I'm not all that interested in them... but I do know they (read Kanye) decided to name their child North because 'north' is the top of the world, and their baby was the best thing they've (read he's) ever 'created', ie: she's the top, the pinnacle of achievement.

Many, many things come to mind about this. Most of which would get me booted out of here quite quickly because I can't think of the terms without putting in offensive words.

I really feel so sorry for their next kid. Is she/he NOT the pinnacle then? NOT the 'crowning achievement'? We all get baggage from our parents, but some bags are heavier than others.

The entitlement I speak of would be any displacement of 50K guests, with little to no notice. I understand, they can afford to have a $2-25M party, great. Don't shove me or anyone else out of your way to have your party.

If DL or DCA were to be closed for a party, there needs to be sufficient notice to allow people to plan around it.

I guess I need to shut up, this is a rumor and all I am is doing is feeding the machine... I glad I am not going to be there at the same time. I feel sorry for anyone adversely effected.

Part of this is the short notice on hours DL provides generally.
Wishing they put their hours out at 6 months prior.

My thoughts exactly. We plan to be at the parks June 15-19. Something tells me we are not in the clear yet.

There is absolutely no way Disney is doing a private party for anyone in the summer season. Contrary to other posts, Disney does not close the parks for private parties. They don't even close the parks for in house events.

Private parties that involve an entire park happen in the off season.

LOL. I'm totally behind on this since I was out of town all weekend visiting the competition. That little girl is so ridiculously spoiled! I know it's only a rumor, but would you put it past them? They think they own the stinkin' world. I'd love to watch North's behavior though at a place like Disneyland. "What, I have to wait in line like the common people? Please, Mommy and Daddy, buy me the ride so I can skip the line. Waaaaaa...." "Okay, let me write you a check."
