Monsters, Inc. May - move like Roz is watching challenge

I actually have legitimate exercise minutes to report!! Despite still feeling like crap, I went out to get the mail and 45 minutes and two plus miles later I returned from a nice walk. No iPod, no running, just me soaking in the sounds of summer and looking around at all the pretty spring flowers in the neighborhood. It was a nice change of pace.

Good morning, work-out buddies!

I hope everyone's Fridays are off to a stellar start.

So, I was just looking at our first post, which I tend to do every day, and I must say that I'm so excited for this weekend and I'm even more excited to wrap this month up.
  • Is it because I'm looking forward to bookclub on Saturday morning where I will discuss a book that I thought was totally dull? (not, really)
  • Is it because Saturday is Farmer's Market day and I'm starting to day-dream about the last stall in the row to the left that sells incredible cinnamon-swirl bread? (maybe)
  • Is it because we have a ton of folks who are SO CLOSE to meeting their individual goals, whatever they may be? AND I KNOW that they're going succeed? (YES!)
I can not wait to see those numbers rolling in. So don't fade away on us. Stay, report your numbers, even if they seem small to you and let's party!

Let's celebrate those that get to the next level and let's celebrate our team overall as we work to get to Roz Red!

Speaking of celebrating...

congratulations to today's color changers:
Trith

and joinging Team Green:
roxymama

As a team, we're at 83.96% and we have 3 days to bring in 1,617 minutes. We've got this!

Went for a 10 mile run/walk this morning. At mile 7ish I cramped up bad. Spent the last 3 miles mostly walking and stretching. I think skipping yoga the past two weeks is negatively impacting my running.
150 minutes today brings me to
1170/1100

Great job to everyone that has met their goal!! And if you haven't yet, you still have a few days left

Oh yea, I think I saw Chip or Dale on my run - I can never tell those two apart!

My personal May Triathlon challenge update:

swimming - completed!:dogdance:
walking - completed!:yay:
biking - not completed!:(

Just couldn't get 112 miles of biking done. Traveling this weekend, so I'm pretty much done for the month.

Today, plenty of swimming and walking, totaling 110 minutes. So a monthly total of 1285/1000.

Have I told you lately just how much I adore this team?

I mean seriously.
It is with great pleasure that I announce that we are at 91.20%!!! Because YOU ALL ROCK!!! :rockband:

YES! With two days still to go we are ROZ RED!

Individual congratulations go out to the following folks:
JoshMom5

And crossing the line into Wish Green Territory:

bigdave10000
pix13dust

And here's the awesome thing. We have so much Wish Green and the month isn't even over! I know that those folks who are working hard to either hit a modified goal or their initial wish green goal are going to get there. Because we are a delightfully hard-working and stubborn bunch!

And just incase you're thinking "well, the group hit Roz Red so I can take the weekend off or at least stop reporting." Let me just drop this bit of motivation.

Did you know that we are only 2,356 minutes away from reaching 100% of the team's combined number goal?

I can not honestly say that I have EVER seen a team reach Wish Green as a whole. (someone who's been doing this longer than I am please correct me). I'm not going get all up in your face about it. I'm just saying that it would be pretty cool.

So if you're active this weekend, please check in. You never know what might happen!
